Back in July, in the words of Senator Nancy Pelosi, “Congress passed a bill on an overwhelmingly bipartisan basis requiring the Administration to impose defense and intelligence sanctions on entities purchasing Russian military equipment.” This legislation, we were told at the time, was necessary, among other things, to both punish the Russians for having meddled in the 2016 U.S. election, and to ensure that they never do it again. The legislation, which was titled the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, moved through both houses of Congress with overwhelming majorities, passing the House on July 25, 2017 in a 419 to 3 vote, and then passing the Senate two days later in a 98 to 2 vote. Trump, who had lobbied against the bill, said that it would “(encroach) on the executive branch’s authority to negotiate” and “(make) it harder for the United States to strike good deals for the American people.” In spite of his objections, however, he went ahead and signed the bill into law. As of yesterday, though, the President had yet to put any of the Russian sanctions outlined in the bill into effect. And, yesterday, for those of you who didn’t have it marked on your calendars, was the deadline placed on him by Congress… the date by which the Trump administration was to have taken action.
As the deadline approached last night, the Trump administration, through a State Department spokesperson, offered the following explanation for their inaction.
You read that right. The statement actually said, “Sanctions on specific entities or individuals will not need to be imposed because the legislation is, in fact, serving as a deterrent.” So the threat of the legislation was so effective, in the opinion of the Trump administration, that, really, we don’t even have to act on it… which I might be able to accept, if not for the fact that Russia, even in the estimation of Trump appointees, remains a very serious threat. Take, for instance, this new headline from Time.
CIA Director Mike Pompeo says he "fully expects" Russia to attempt to interfere with U.S. midterm elections https://t.co/RcqRh923y6
— TIME (@TIME) January 30, 2018
So CIA Director Mike Pompeo, a Trump appointee, says he “fully expects” Russia to attempt to interfere with U.S. midterm elections, and yet Donald Trump has decided not to take action to prevent it from happening… Trump, for all intents and purposes, is essentially inviting the Russians to do it again, without fear of consequence.
Here, from around the internet, are just a few responses.
Senator Claire McCaskill: “Congress voted 517-5 to impose sanctions on Russia. The President decides to ignore that law. Folks that is a constitutional crisis. There should be outrage in every corner of this country.”
Congressman Eliot Engel: “I’m fed up waiting for this Administration to protect our country and our elections… They chose to let Russia off the hook yet again.”
Senator Nancy Pelosi: “Congress gave Donald Trump the tools to hold Russia accountable. He chose to reject implementing sanctions – showing brazen disregard for an action with overwhelming bipartisan support… Instead of holding Russia accountable for its attacks on our country undermining our elections, the President is waging an all-out attack on our patriotic intelligence and law enforcement communities making our country less safe. The White House’s repeated decisions to let Putin have a free pass make Americans question, what do the Russians have on the President, politically, financially and personally?”
Russian chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov: “Incredible. Trump defies Congress to protect Putin, who attacked the US election to help Trump. Those are plain facts. Is is possible to believe he isn’t compromised?”
Russian state television host Olga Skabeeva: “Trump is ours again!”
Why would a man in Trump’s position refuse to act? Why would a president deny to follow though on legislation that almost unanimously passed through Congress? Or, more to the point, why would a president, besieged by rumors that he’s essentially being controlled by a hostile foreign power, not take the opportunity, when it’s offered to him, to stand up against said foreign power? As far as I can tell, there’s only one explanation, and it’s that Donald Trump really is under the complete and total control of Russia. I don’t see any other logical explanation as to why he wouldn’t act to protect our nation from such a clear and present danger.
In a more perfect world, Americans would be up in arms about this. Our Congress, almost unanimously, passed legislation to punish Russia for their election meddling in 2016 – election meddling which, by they way, everyone in the U.S. intelligence community agrees happened. And yet our President has chosen not only to stop these sanctions from moving forward, but to attempt the rollback of previous sanctions put in place by the Obama administration… This is really happening right now, in our country… Russia is a threat. And our President is unwilling to do what is necessary to safeguard the United States… This isn’t about 2016. This is about our future, and protecting the integrity of our democratic institutions. The first question asked of any member of Congress from this point forward should be, “What do you intend to do about President Trump’s refusal to act on the Russian sanctions demanded by Congress, and his refusal to deal with the real, ongoing threat posed by Russia?”
If you want, though, we can also talk about the State of the Union. Personally, I didn’t watch. From what I hear, though, some folks really liked it.

For what it’s worth, the Treasury Department met their obligation under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act. At 11:44 PM last night, just 16 minutes before the deadline, they released a list of Russian oligarchs and Putin-connected politicians, a list that, had Trump decided to act on the bipartisan legislation, would have pointed toward potential targets for for our economic sanctions. The list, according to CNN, includes 96 oligarchs with a net worth of over $1 billion each.
Someoene in the Trump administration… I can’t remember who… said that naming them was enough. Maybe they think the invisible hand of the free market will now dole out the justice deserved by these individuals, the cronies of Vladimir Putin who made their fortunes looting the Russian coffers.
My guess is that this GOP congress is going to let him get away with it.
We know from wikileaks’ Vault 7 drop that the CIA has the ability to spoof cyber-spying by any country. Claims of Russian hacking of the DNC should therefore be viewed with scrutiny.
HW ignores overwhelming evidence to the contrary in favor of speculation that supports his world view.
Maxine Waters will be giving an alternative response to the SOTU on BET tonight.

“Americans are dreamers too” is such great, racist code. Someone should give Stephen Miller a few extra Reichsmarks in his pay envelope this week.
Nice theory whistle, dog.
Then there was the story of the North Korean stealing coal and escaping because he too was “yearning to be free.”
“Yearning to be free” being moving only if not Black, Brown or Muslim. If you are Black, Brown or Muslim, we have detention, deportation and Gitmo waiting for you.
Unless of course, you want to be a token emblem of non-existent Black support for Trump’s agenda during the state of the union. I sure hope all of those people of color got something of real value to them for being used that way.
Why didn’t that North Korean stay in his own shithole country and make it better?
M, I cringed at that whole “Americans are dreamers too” bit. I am surprised he didn’t bring up a poster board with an #AllLivesMatter hashtag.
JH, re “HW ignores overwhelming evidence to the contrary in favor of speculation that supports his world view.”
We all to it to varying degrees. Still, HW is an extreme case which is valuable because it is easier to see and once you can learn to see it in others, it becomes easier to see when one is doing it themselves.
“HW ignores overwhelming evidence to the contrary in favor of speculation that supports his world view.”
What evidence is there? The report on the alleged hacking was a joke. There was a disclaimer at the top saying there is no guarantee it is true! “17 agencies” is a joke too: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2017/07/06/clapper_confirms_17_intelligence_agencies_russia_story_was_false.html
Supremacy of the American race! I’m sure.
HW– your comment demonstrates my point well. You are ignoring overwhelming evidence in favor of speculation that suits your worldview.
Lynne– Yes, confirmation bias is a universal human tendency– One we should all be conscious of. HW takes it to an art form. His analysis of the Trump Russia investigation is remarkably creative.
Too bad you can’t substantiate anything you say, Jean but I do.
HW– Clapper confirmed the story in that claim. 3 agencies confirmed Russian interference was happening in advance of the Steele dossier. So what was disproven here? You again have twisted one fallacy (17 agencies) and interpreted that to mean the entire thing is a deep state sham. Confirmation bias 101
I have no idea where you came up with “Supremacy of the American race.” To what are you referring?
What President used military tribunals to prosecute Americans for crimes?
“3 agencies confirmed Russian interference was happening in advance of the Steele dossier.”
Cronies in three agencies lied. Evidence forthcoming.
“Corrections: June 29, 2017

A White House Memo article on Monday about President Trump’s deflections and denials about Russia referred incorrectly to the source of an intelligence assessment that said Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during last year’s presidential election. The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community.”
old news, HW
“I have no idea where you came up with “Supremacy of the American race.” To what are you referring?”
How do you not get that? M said saying “Americans are dreamers too” is racist. I’m pointing out the obvious that Americans are of all races.
“old news, HW”
Hillary hammered the 17 agencies over and over and I’m pretty sure she never corrected herself publicly.
It was hilarious to see the Democrats not know whether to stand up or not on things like auto plants coming to Michigan! Tough position to be in.
cute
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfIEx_YaUfE
I somehow doubt that the presence or absence of auto plants in MI will substantially change Mr. Warlord’s life. He would not be a competitive hire. Also doubt that Mr. Sessions will go for the whole cannibus deregulation and research angle that Mr. Warlord supports. If anything, law and order Trump Justice will lead to more arrests as the war on drugs is amplified. The comments section is as entertaining as the website for the Flat Earth Society, but with politics substituted for geography.
Not really trying to get an auto job. I have my own niches. I’m happy for the workers though. Dems don’t know if it is good or not. Anything going well for Trump is a problem for them or so they seem to feel.
I think Sessions is forcing Senators to demand an actual change in federal law. They are already getting together on it. Trump said it should be up to the states. If he can get it done without being left holding the “bag” so to speak in the eyes of anti-cannabis conservatives that is a win for everyone.
“No question about the attack on Clinton, responded Toobin, citing “all that bogus stuff about the Clinton Foundation” — perhaps a reference to the Uranium One story or even to the pre-election reporting of Bret Baier — later withdrawn — that there would be an indictment relating to the foundation.
“And I hold myself somewhat responsible for that,” continued Toobin, a steady presence on CNN since 2002. “I think there was a lot of false equivalence in the 2016 campaign. That every time we said something, pointed out something about Donald Trump — whether it was his business interests, or grab ’em by the p–––y, we felt like, ‘Oh, we gotta, like, talk about — we gotta say something bad about Hillary.’ And I think it led to a sense of false equivalence that was misleading, and I regret my role in doing that.”
https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/blogs/erik-wemple/wp/2018/01/29/cnns-jeffrey-toobin-i-regret-my-role-in-hillary-clinton-false-equivalence/?__twitter_impression=true
Jeffrey Toobin – he’s a steady presence on CNN. That gives him credibility so he definitely is telling the truth.
“We asked experts again this week if Clinton’s claim was correct or not.
“In the context of a national debate, her answer was a reasonable inference from the DNI statement,” Cordero said, emphasizing that the statement said, “The U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is confident” in its assessment.
Aftergood said it’s fair to say the Director of National Intelligence speaks for the intelligence community, but that doesn’t always mean there is unamity across the community, and it’s possible that some organizations disagree.
But in the case of the Russia investigation, there is no evidence of disagreement among members of the intelligence community.”
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2017/jul/06/17-intelligence-organizations-or-four-either-way-r/
When I bother to debunk your BS, HW, you ignore it. It’s not hard. It takes less than a minute most of the time. It is boring though.
I’d take the legitimacy of Mr Toobin over any of your sources, HW. I especially pay attention when people in the press admit to failing and correct. How often does Fox News or any of your sources walk their false claims back?
Experts have credibility too so they can rationalize really well. Aftergood said the truth in an intentionally understated way. The last sentence gives plausible deniability if evidence does come forth.
“It’s fair to say the Director of National Intelligence speaks for the intelligence community, but that doesn’t always mean there is unamity across the community, and it’s possible that some organizations disagree.
But in the case of the Russia investigation, there is no evidence of disagreement among members of the intelligence community.”
“I’d take the legitimacy of Mr Toobin over any of your sources, HW. I especially pay attention when people in the press admit to failing and correct. How often does Fox News or any of your sources walk their false claims back?”
I mostly use CNN and all the mainstream sources.
Ah so, Toobin is legit then?
It’s ALL legit. It’s the unvarnished truth every time.
There are no coverups and no DANGEROUS SECRETS!!! Everything is exactly as it appears. You are CRAZY if you think anything might be going on under the surface!
Scott Dworkin- Trump not implementing Russian sanctions is like if Bush took no action after 9/11. Didn’t investigate 9/11. Didn’t update security on airplanes. Acted like bin Laden was our friend & ally. When in reality all bin Laden wanted to do is attack America more. Just like Putin will.

Rut roh! Gowdy quitting Congress to return to justice system where his “skills can be better utilized.”
34 republican incumbents thus far not seeking re-election.
The rats are fleeing the sinking ship!
That’s right. What do you think is in store for the Democrats?
What skills does Gowdy have that would be better utilized in justice?
Well he did waste a lot of time and money on trying to get Clinton for something . He could do that again?
How does a dumptruck stall out on the tracks and the occupants just chill until getting smashed by a train? Musta been stoooned…on weeeed…
How is investigating criminal activity a waste of time and money?
The Democrats will continue on with their signature platform – We’re not nearly as bad as them!
Your mind does go to wonderful places HW. I heard about the train crash and just thought – oh, an accident! You’re right, maybe it wasn’t. Keep fighting the good fight man!
HW, the Democrats did not know weather to clap at Trump’s lie’s concerning auto plants. Like you, accuracy is unimportant to Trump. Winning debating points is all that counts. Really superficial nonsense. Just for accuracy sake–there are no new auto plants being built in Michigan.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2018/01/30/state-union-president-trump-autos/1081550001/
Investigating criminal activity is useful when there are actual crimes and convictions.
When it’s done for political theater it’s a waste of time and money and attention.
We’ll see if the FISA memo for you and the Mueller investigation for them actually come to anything. I’ll wait, patiently.
The Democrats should learn to laugh when he says that stupid shit. It would make for better optics rather than sitting there looking constipated and uncomfortable. I think the Russians are clandestinely providing PR advise to the Democrats.
The only thing Gowdy could do was refer to DOJ for prosecution. After that it was out of his hands.
How is it a lie? Mazda and Toyota are building a plant and presumably the Fiat Chrysler plant will be expanded to build trucks.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-fiat-chrysler-investment/fiat-chrysler-to-invest-1-billion-in-michigan-plant-add-2500-jobs-idUSKBN1F034F
CBS News: “CIA director Mike Pompeo met with Russian counterpart in U.S.”
Finally it’s the Smoking Gun!
HW, Do you even pay attention to what you say? The Mazda Toyota plant is in Alabama. The Chrysler plant is simply being retooled. That happens all the time. Like I said accuracy is unimportant to you. You seem only interested in “winning” debating points. Much like the child president we have.
Just to remind you, “t was hilarious to see the Democrats not know whether to stand up or not on things like auto plants coming to Michigan!”
“HW, Do you even pay attention to what you say? The Mazda Toyota plant is in Alabama.”
That’s okay. I’m happy for Alabama too. The revamped Chrysler one in Michigan sounds serious – a billion dollars!
2,500 jobs – that’s the most important thing, right?
Do you not have to be accurate to win debates? Don’t really see the point of what you said about that. I didn’t think what I said would be a point of contention. Otherwise I would have been more precise. I said THINGS LIKE auto plants coming to Michigan; a general, jovial statement not intended as a debate point. Isn’t there a Ford one too by the way or is that not happening?
Oh, sorry Ford is only investing 1.2 BILLION dollars to existing plants in Michigan.
Ford executives said the plant investments were planned long before Trump took office.
https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/2017/03/28/ford-investment-michigan-plants/99705820/
“Chrysler is moving a major plant from Mexico to Michigan.”
Chrysler’s plan to invest $1 billion in a factory in Michigan was in motion before Trump’s election, according to its CEO, who credits talks with the United Auto Workers in 2015.
You are much like the President -bluster and hyperbole.
You seem to know nothing about the auto industry or what manufacturing requires.
They might have agreed to it but it didn’t happen till now did it? You can talk about it forever. Who knows if they would have done it in a Clinton climate?
A whole bunch of you clones are addicted to talking about me. Just stick to the facts like I said from the start and you will do better. It doesn’t matter what it SEEMS like I am TO YOU. That’s nothing more than an opinion and reality doesn’t give a fuck about that.
lol
“Not really trying to get an auto job. I have my own niches.”
SSI?
lol
”I mostly use CNN and all the mainstream sources.”
The Mr. Warlord is 10% CNN for “facts” and 90% Alex Jones for “interpretation.”
I assumed HW’s ‘niche’ was his mother’s basement.
And since his mother is a woman, he can’t be a misogynist.
Maybe his grow house is his niche.
https://imprimis.hillsdale.edu/are-we-free-to-discuss-americas-real-problems/
EOS believes that ‘civil’ discourse is discourse in which bigots are coddled. I’d suggest a civilized society can only be produced by not tolerating bigotry. There is no ‘free speech’ argument that condones tone policing. Free speech is free speech. The professor in the article wrote an article that offended many, and they used their free speech to say so. The professor, rather than recognizing that free speech was utilized to challenge her viewpoints, feels ‘oppressed’ by other people’s opinions. It’s nice that someone she knew took the time and energy to gently explain to her why her viewpoints were problematic. But no one is obligated to do so. The professor, much like EOS herself, would like a world in which her ideas are not challenged. Thank God we don’t live in that world. Arguments about maintaining “civilization” have historically justified all manner of oppression at benefit of a privileged class. We live in a very imperfect country with a more enlightened and democratic ideal of civilization– one that is currently at risk.
The proper response would be to engage in reasoned debate –
Good one EOS, at least your heart is in the right place, if a not a tad too small.
I used to know kids that would catch mice and put them in a box and poke them with sticks to terrorize the mice. I wonder if adults could do that with words?
Happy Freedom Day to all the good people who love freedom.
Thanks for taking the high road, EOS.
I am definitely highly diappointed in a few of the posters on this blog. Please clean up your acts, folks. There are serious consequences when individuals engage in the kind of shameful behavior a few of you are engaging in here. Please realize you are making the world a worse place…Making the world a worse place for no good reason at all.
“I am definitely highly diappointed in a few of the posters on this blog. Please clean up your acts, folks. Please realize you are making the world a worse place…Making the world a worse place for no good reason at all.”
Another true post – spot on.
Sad– I’m not under the impression that either HW or EOS are ‘terrorized by words’ against them. That would make them far more human than they are in this forum. You are made uncomfortable by verbal aggression. That’s your issue. These times call for a degree of aggression in confronting bigotry. “Reasoned debate” assumes everyone gets equal voice and hearing in our culture. Calling for ‘reasoned debate’ in an unequal power structure merely preserves the status quo. When everyone gets equal access to a seat at the table and the means to advancement, that argument holds. (And obviously it is the ideal.) But until then, resistance is called for.
Neither HW nor EOS are worthy of your defense.
Characterizing EOS as ‘taking the high road’ is comical.
Does any real person actually think I am an inhuman sexist bigot? No. There is no way in hell someone like Jean or Pete is going to beat me with reason. That is why they are so freaked out. That’s why they attack with nothing but lies intended to degrade. When a man lies he murders a part of the world. Well maybe the world isn’t taking this shit anymore. Happy Freedom Day.
Thanks, HW. I know for a fact that there are quite a few of us who are sharing the same feelings of disappointment, fwiw.
I often don’t agree with HW. But I do learn from him.
I didn’t even know that today was Freedon day!
HW– You are twisting words again. I did not say you were inhuman. I said that fo you demonstrated any vulnerability that would make you ‘more human than you are in this forum.’ I’m sure you and EOS both have some humanity. We just are not privy to that side of you here.
Why do you both need to feel victimized by challenge? Even more of concern, why do other people feel a need to call for moderation when inaccurate, ignorant and dangerous viewpoints are challenged.
There was a time when we could all comfortably dismiss conspiracy theorists and Christian conservatives and their bigotry as marginal. Now is not the time.
Right on
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDvlErh5zcc
How can you incessantly harass someone, calling them a bigot and things like that and wonder what their problem is with it? Something is wrong with you and you won’t see it until you look deep inside at your own behavior.
I never called the Mr. Warlord a bigot. I called him a misogynist, yes and a “men’s rightist” yes.
I do speculate that the Mr. Warlord, given his ideas on “men’s rights” is also sympathetic to “white rights.”
I also said that people like the Mr. Warlord helped usher in this new age of bigotry and put a bigot in the White House. Even if the Mr. Warlord is not a (racial) bigot, he has no problem voting one in to the White House.
I don’t think that anyone who posts on a public forum deserves coddling for their ideas. They can simply leave, particularly when they post knowing full well that their ideas will be unacceptable in that particular forum.
If I go and post to Alex Jones’ site, can I not expect push back? EOS and the Mr. Warlord don’t need safe spaces. They clearly are capable of defending themselves.
I hope that the Mr. Warlord does not leave, because his responses are incredibly informative. I don’t know Mr. Warlord personally, I only know what he posts here, but what he posts is interesting to me.
EOS, less so. EOS’ ideas are usually just right wing boilerplate ideas that are of less interest to me.
That’s the “things like that”. I am for the rights of every human being and I have never ever said or done a single thing to make any reasonable person think otherwise. You on the other hand, Pete show what a bigot you are by acting like some people shouldn’t have rights based on their sex and color.
It shows how twisted you are to act like it’s “coddling” to not harass someone with disgusting personal attacks. It’s so gross what you do every day. No reason, only sick putdowns.
It proves the one about staring too long into the abyss. You have become what you hate the most.
“You on the other hand, Pete show what a bigot you are by acting like some people shouldn’t have rights based on their sex and color.”
My name is not Pete, but here it is.
The Mr. Warlord is a “white rightist.”
Glad we now know.
“No reason, only sick putdowns.”
You seem pretty capable of handling it.
Again, I have never met the Mr. Warlord, I have no idea who he is, I can only go by what he posts here.
Bullshit, Peter. I am for all the colors of people so to be correct you have to amend that. I don’t classify people based on race like you.
lol
The Mr. Warlord thinks that white men are an oppressed group.
To be clear you are an anti-white and anti-male bigot. You think it’s a joke that everyone should have the same rights. I’m not anti-anyone.
lol
IL doesn’t think little boys suffer under the patriarchy.
I think all humans are oppressed. Like I said I don’t really classify people in groups like you obsessively do. You discriminate based on race so you are what?
You stared so long into the abyss of racism it swallowed you up and made you part of it.
Well, my suspicions have been confirmed.
These are just the classic arguments that people have historically used against people who advocate for increased opportunities for oppressed groups in society.
Being for, for example, increased opportunities for African Americans in education does not mean that one is for decreased opportunities for white people in education.
“You stared so long into the abyss of racism it swallowed you up and made you part of it.”
lol
No joke
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu59WhIN8rk
Again, if don’t like getting blow back for your classically flawed ideas, don’t post on a blog like this.
“To be clear you are an anti-white and anti-male bigot.”
There it is.
Well, I feel completely justified in my tone with Mr. HW.
Sad– If you think Mr Warlord is concerned about the impact the patriarchy has on young boys, you are sadly mistaken. Mr. Warlord does not believe the patriarchy exists. He believe the patriarchy, like racism, was invented to oppress white men. You better start checking out the men’s rights movement.
You persist in giving a bigot the benefit of the doubt, while chastising those who stand up to him. This is why your posts here make me ill. You are complicit but you think, as much as HW does, that you are the virtuous one.
I don’t even know what they talk about at “men’s rights meetings”. Never said anything about it. This is dumb.
I don’t think that people who subscribe to the ideologies present in the “men’s rights” and “white rights” movements deserve coddling.
They need to be confronted everywhere they appear.
It is possible that the Mr. Warlord does not understand the implications of his flawed thinking. It is also possible that he does.
Either way, it is irrelevant. I find those ideas reprehensible as should most people.
If you don’t like my ideas then argue against them with knowledge. Harassing me with a barrage of abuse does nothing.
“I don’t even know what they talk about at “men’s rights meetings”. Never said anything about it. This is dumb.”
I have no way of knowing what meetings you attend.
“If you don’t like my ideas then argue against them with knowledge. Harassing me with a barrage of abuse does nothing.”
It prompts you to say more about what you believe, which is informative to me. It is rare that I am able to interact directly with someone who holds your views.
I think people who are against anyone’s rights deserves whatever they get and you are going to get it.
“I have no way of knowing anything because I am an idiot”
Fixed it for you.
“I think people who are against anyone’s rights deserves whatever they get and you are going to get it.”
Interesting.
What makes you guys think anybody is calling for you to coddle or give a safe-place to anybody? Strange reaction to our words, no? EOS and HW don’t need a safe space from you.
This is about you guys and the need for you guys to fix yourselves up. You guys are failing to meet the basic requirements that are expected if one wants to be considered a minimally reasonable person. Your behavior on this site has been consistently ugly and counterproductive for far too long now. There is no good reason for your choosing to behave this way. Why don’t you guys just stop?

I am very grateful. I think I have said so many times.

You hold ideas that I find wholly unacceptable and reprehensible. I find your loose approach to information to be horrifying. That you voted for a bigot and passionately support him without question is revolting.
There are many like you. You provide me with an informative window into that world.
Other than what you post here, I have no idea who you are or what you are like but I appreciate that you post here. Please keep posting.

You have made me laugh.
Get your laughing in now because you will be crying when you find out what an idiot you’ve been.
Mr. Warlord, FF, and others have mistaken MM.com for an open public forum, subject to Robert’s rules, when it is, in fact, an extremely progressive liberal blog strongly opposed to corporate interests and in this particular moment, specifically opposed to the current president’s tone and policy decisions. Is it any surprise that their views are ridiculed and mocked? Mr. Warlord should seek the sympathy and support of MLive commentators if he finds his audience here beneath his level of discourse. There will be no come to Jesus moment to be had on this board.
Point taken Jcp2 – I was mistaken I thought this was an open public forum. My bad.
I told MM he can just ask me to leave and I will. I don’t think people should be ridiculed and mocked anywhere they go. They should talk about information and ideas with reason.
How can you be against (nefarious) corporate interests and be pro-Clinton? That makes no sense. She thought she could buy the Presidency with dirty money. Trump thumped her at half the cost.
I think that someone who holds your views should expect to be ridiculed and mocked on this particular site.
In EOS’ case, I think that she receives some level of validation from the push back against her. With the Mr. Warlord, his motives are unclear, but it is strange that he is surprised to produce the reaction he does, given the nature of his posts and the nature of this blog.
“I think that someone who holds your views should expect to be ridiculed and mocked on this particular site.”
It’s mostly you and Jean Henry that do that with a small supporting cast. It’s an appeal to the worst emotional impulses in others. It only makes you look bad to reasonable people.
Mr. Warlord may think his contributions here are along the lines of the Jesuits bringing enlightenment to the Americas, when in fact, it is being received as well as a showing of Capricorn One at the Museum of Natural History. Mr. Warlord doesn’t realize it yet, but he is the actor on screen and IL is the commentator in a local political version of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Well, to be fair, only a handful of people post to this site. In a larger forum with a similar political theme, you should expect to be ridiculed by an even larger number of people.
“it is being received as well as a showing of Capricorn One at the Museum of Natural History. Mr. Warlord doesn’t realize it yet, but he is the actor on screen and IL is the commentator in a local political version of Mystery Science Theater 3000.”
Hahahahaha, this is excellent.
Mega INFORMATION coming out tomorrow. You will receive it whether you like it or not. It has nothing to do with me.
“Well, to be fair, only a handful of people post to this site. In a larger forum with a similar political theme, you should expect to be ridiculed by an even larger number of people.”
Then behaving like you do you should expect to get what? Someone in this world is going to smell what a piece of shit you are and take offense.
I do not enjoy dealing with you but I do like giving you enough rope. You are hanging yourself. I don’t have to do anything but talk about realities in this world and you go insane.
“Then behaving like you do you should expect to get what? ”
I got exactly what I sought.
Now I get it Jcp2 – do you mean that MM is just interested I preaching to the choir?
“I got exactly what I sought.”
You don’t know it yet.
Mr. Warlord conflates propaganda with information. Even worse, he is unable to distinguish between information and knowledge. Effect of cannabis and/or psychedelic exposure? More research is needed.
You are the propagandist. Your claims fall apart every time.
It’s unfortunate that people can not identify the regular commenter with actual abusive tendencies. It seems apparent they have likely never been under the thumb of an abuser and so cant recognize the patterns in language and self presentation. I provoke HW so that he exposes himself. (I have done this before IRL when friends were dating men with abusive tendencies. They blow up and then it’s seen. I have removed people who were inappropriate with staff from my business and had them lose it on the way out the door. Abusers don’t scare me. But I know their ways. Others here seem to pay attention what I’m doing while feeling a need to defend the guy who calls people idiots, stupid bitches, etc and likens himself to a warrior, all while spouting the most egregious nonsense. I know what I’m doing and I’m not going to stop.
“Your claims fall apart every time.”
As Mr. Jcp2 notes, the Mr. Warlord fails to understand the differences between measurement, data and interpretation. He is not alone. Many people of all political camps fail to understand the differences.
Honestly, I find that aspect of the Mr. Warlord to be the most interesting.
Sad,
Is it not obvious what this site is about? Try clicking above on the “About” button. While people might think MM.com has a nefarious agenda, it’s really one person’s way of working out their thoughts and anxieties. The fact that most people do this non-publicly is the chief distinction to this site.
“t’s unfortunate that people can not identify the regular commenter with actual abusive tendencies. “while feeling a need to defend the guy who calls people idiots, stupid bitches, etc and likens himself to a warrior, all while spouting the most egregious nonsense.”
Yes, it is strange that people would rally to the cause of a guy who posts obscenity filled rants, calls all of us idiots and fools and who stoop to call a women a “dumb bitch” and then refuse to apologize for it. He even went to far as to justify that behavior.
I am thinking that the Mr. Warlord IS Donald Trump.
“As Mr. Jcp2 notes, the Mr. Warlord fails to understand the differences between measurement, data and interpretation. He is not alone. Many people of all political camps fail to understand the differences.
Honestly, I find that aspect of the Mr. Warlord to be the most interesting.”
You keep trying to define me but it’s all a bunch of bullshit. Your actual content is like .1% of your posts. I have schooled you – SCHOOLED you on things you are supposed have a handle on with such an amazing education under your belt.
Sad– MM is providing information and his perspective. He is not cheerleading the left, and, when I think he does, I let him know. Not all people on the left agree, and this site offers a dynamic conversation across views from far left to center. Those are respectful. HW’s presence here has eroded those conversations. It is useful to get us out of our bubble, but I prefer to talk to more reasonable and honest Trump supporters. HW represents the most avid of Trump supporters. It’s interesting, but not the whole spectrum by a long shot. There is no point in trying to have reasoned discourse with an unreasonable person. I think IL and my comments reflect back HW’s tone. We’re just better at messing with him than he’ll ever be with us. He has yet to frustrate or anger me in any way. Watching him lose it and then spiral into more name calling, challenge and grandiosity is amusing. His conspiracy theories are modestly interesting to me. How he frames his own political perspective as more fair and just is super interesting to me.
Thanks JCP2 for using the voice of The Authoritarian to clear up our misunderstanding, as we wouldn’t have realized, absent your voice, that this closed forum is reserved for the free expression of “very progressive” thoughts . I am glad your voice has found an appropriate place for free and authoritative expression, JCP2. Where should the rest of us go? Mlive you say?
I think you are wrong. Mr. Trump’s niche is magnitudes larger than Mr. Warlord’s.
Mr. Warlord, if Mark were to agree, would you do an interview for this site?
I was very, very nice for months until I decided to start responding in kind to the hateful bile you people try to puke on me. That’s how it is. You talk about me about a hundred times more than I talk about you and when you talk about me it is always nasty.
FF, you can do whatever you would like, but if it’s sympathy you seek from posters other than Mr. Warlord and EOS, you might not find it here.
“You keep trying to define me but it’s all a bunch of bullshit.”
We can only go by what you post here. I know nothing at all about your real life persona.
“Mr. Warlord, if Mark were to agree, would you do an interview for this site?”
What kind? I do not want to subject myself to more abuse than people like Peter already dish out.
“We can only go by what you post here. I know nothing at all about your real life persona.”
Then you should be fine with me because I don’t have any of the “beliefs” you say I do. No one appreciates people telling nasty lies about them even if it is on a message board.
FF– a site having and acknowledging a political perspective is not the same thing as preventing other people with other perspectives from voicing their beliefs. In fact, Mark has rarely if ever blocked commentators. People who come to a blog with a stated liberal progressive and inquisitive perspective can expect to be challenged by others here if their view is far outside of that perspective. If I were Christian, even evangelical Christian. I wouldn’t march into a synagogue to start proselytizing. Or visa versa. If I were a liquor promotor I wouldn’t try to sell in an AA meeting, just as I wouldn’t preach teetotaling at a liquor store. Some would maybe, and they would be predatory assholes.
” I wouldn’t march into a synagogue to start proselytizing. ”
I think that people should be free to express their views (however flawed) in whatever forum they like, but I don’t think they should expect to be free from attack should their views diverge radically from people who happen to visit that forum.
The Christian marching into a mosque or a synagogue or wherever screaming at the top of his lungs should expect to be receive push back.
“Then you should be fine with me because I don’t have any of the “beliefs” you say I do. No one appreciates people telling nasty lies about them even if it is on a message board.”
If you are convinced that you are not a misogynist, a men’s rightist, a white rightist and a guy who overlooks pedophilia when politically convenient, you should consider why people would think that.
As of yet, you have not effectively defended yourself against those charges. In fact, your responses have only added to the evidence that you do likely hold those views.
You shouldn’t attack someone and expect no self defense. You howl if I say anything at all in response the horrible things YOU say against me. Frosted Flakes sees it and I bet he is right that other people do too.
“If you are convinced that you are not a misogynist, a men’s rightist, a white rightist and a guy who overlooks pedophilia when politically convenient, you should consider why people would think that.”
You think that because you are a piece of shit who hates what he does not understand.
“…If it’s sympathy you seek. You might not find it here”.
Oh come on JCP2. Have more courage. Use your favorite voice again. Thanks for telling me I can do whatever I like though. That is generous of you.
People have said all kinds of things about me, even on this blog.
It does not bother me at all.
Yes, of course you should defend yourself. So far, you haven’t convinced me that you are any different from what I have charge. If can do that, great, but so far you have not.
Karma will make everything right.
I can only conclude that because Mr. Warlord does not seem to understand social norms, at least based on his comments here, that he is non-social at best, and anti-social at worst. Therefore, an interview would not be an ideal forum for dialogue. However, I could be completely wrong and discover that IRL, Mr. Warlord is genuinely kind and compassionate. That is, of course, if his prior threats of physical confrontation outside Deja Vu were merely empty online gestures of frustration rather than a true indication of why he would want to meet any commentator of this site, including MM himself.
“Karma will make everything right.”
I am not Buddhist.
” That is, of course, if his prior threats of physical confrontation outside Deja Vu ”
Did this happen?
“What kind? I do not want to subject myself to more abuse than people like Peter already dish out.”
IDK. I was thinking that it would be interesting to know you as a person, to go behind the bluster and the conspiracy theories.
What are you talking about? Threats of physical confrontation? Outside Deja Vu? You are the one who said that! I might have said you should say some horrible thing to my face instead of from behind a screen. That’s because I understand it is a lot harder to do what you were doing face to face. Definitely I would never want to get into a fight in as stupid a place as in front of Deja Vu. I wondered why you said that at the time. I never said anything about that.
I do understand how to behave properly. That’s why I was sooo sweet when I first started. I knew my ideas were different obviously so I treated everyone with kid gloves. Go back and look. I only started talking back after taking tremendous abuse.
FF, I have about as much courage as every anonymous poster here, which is very little. Mark and Jean, who post under their own name, are far braver than me or you. But that’s okay. Our words are just idle entertainment.
“People have said all kinds of things about me, even on this blog. It does not bother me at all.”
Says the guy who just a few days ago was advocating for the effectiveness of shaming people into better health and that “shaming” was a key aspect of your profession.
(Cue twighlight zone music)
“IDK. I was thinking that it would be interesting to know you as a person, to go behind the bluster and the conspiracy theories.”
You should try to understand what I say without dismissing with that propaganda term. Forget about labeling information like that. Just deal with one bit of information at a time.
“Says the guy who just a few days ago was advocating for the effectiveness of shaming people into better health and that “shaming” was a key aspect of your profession.”
Well, I do think that making certain behaviors socially unacceptable is a good way to prevent them and improve the welfare of everyone. I stand by that.
The incredible declines in adult smoking are part the result of concerted efforts to make smoking less desirable.
I stand by that.
Lynne took that to mean that I think that people who are obese should be shamed in public or somehow ostracized and marginalized. I said that is not the case many times.
“That’s why I was sooo sweet when I first started”
You know, I have no idea what the Mr. Warlord is like in real life, having never met the guy, but I find statements like this creepy.
It sounds like the guy who feels justified in yelling a girl he likes because he was such a “nice guy.”
That makes no sense. How is it abusive to be nice? If anyone is abusive it’s the people who project it like you and Jean and jcp2. You have behaved horribly. I’ve been relatively nice all along. I try to talk about ideas, you attack and I defend myself.
Luckily the populations you have helped become healthier are not so impossibly blinded by self righteous conviction that they are immune to becoming more rational and healthy in their behaviors. And missing the point is not a mortal sin.
That is the good news!
You are the creep. Saying I excuse pedophiles for political reasons? That’s disgusting. I see what it is. I have pointed out organized child abuse in government with evidence. That scares the shit out of you so bad you freak out and try to twist it. There is going to be a lot of information related to this coming to light in the Trump era and it is going to be understood by the public. It’s so bad you and everyone will finally understand what I have been talking about. Illegal spying is the tip of a hidden iceberg that will shock humanity. Like I said laugh all you want but reality is coming and there is nothing ridicule can do about it.
lol – Your right Jcp2 – I went back to re-read the about. I didn’t know that the number one blog here was about ball shaving. I thought it was so much more.
HW as someone just pointed out about the FISA memo. The same people that are all worked up about it in respect to your guy just reauthorized FISA for the rest of us.
He explicitly said it is for foreign people, not Americans which is what it was supposed to be for. Obama used it as a back door to massive spying on Americans.
HW, Let’s see, you voted for Trump, non? That absolutely counts as excusing a pedophile for political reasons. Sure, you seem to have done it by convincing yourself of his innocence but that is neither here nor there.
You’re right HW. Once again I fell for fake news on NPR.
FF,
I do not work in health promotion. I have opinions about certain things but that doesnt mean i work in those fields.
I suppose i fail to understand why that discouraging destructive bahaviors would upset you so. I am interested to know why.
” That is, of course, if his prior threats of physical confrontation outside Deja Vu ”
“Did this happen?”
No. I never threatened jcp2 and never said anything about Deja Vu. I did invite jcp2 to say some nasty thing or another they typed on the screen to say it to my face. It’s amazing to think of how different so many people must be when the object of their abuse is present.
I am not convinced that Republocans or the Trump administration are serious about preventing unnecessary surveillance on Americans.
It’s all too much. it’s making me …..Sad.
PS. MM I know that this site is about a lot more than ball shaving. Your post today was great and something that I probably wouldn’t have heard about without you. Keep on keeping on.
I still want to know though, did you give Nugent the beer money?
“HW, Let’s see, you voted for Trump, non? That absolutely counts as excusing a pedophile for political reasons. Sure, you seem to have done it by convincing yourself of his innocence but that is neither here nor there.”
No it doesn’t. Not unless he is in fact a pedo. If you have evidence of it then you should just say it. Smearing someone like that is terrible. Trump volunteered to help the prosecution in the case against convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein who owns the island that the Clinton’s went to every chance they got.
“I am not convinced that Republocans or the Trump administration are serious about preventing unnecessary surveillance on Americans.”
That’s a fine way to say what you think. You are learning.
“That’s a fine way to say what you think. You are learning.”
More creepy self-inflating and controlling language from HW and typical of abusers.
Why do you project what is in your heart onto someone else? What is it that makes certain people stuck in that behavior?
IL,
I must confess I do enjoy it when you switch gears and go into your polite southern belle act, which you so often resort to, because it makes me smile. It shouldn’t but it does…. I sometimes, over the years have literally laughed out loud when I have imagined you politely saying certain things you write in a certain mode. Always “innocently” missing the point in a veiled attempt to passive aggressively obscure any subject found not befitting of a lady of the south, such as yourself. Clutching your pearls, straightening your bonnet, and fanning away the oppressive heat on your father’s southern plantation…To make it more humorous I might start inserting the phrases of the time and place: “Well my dear heavens”; “whatever could you mean”; “My goodness, I do find your words quite puzzling….”
I am fully expecting a reply to this post like: “whatever do you mean fine sir, I am deeply confused by your post FF, but want to know more about what you could ever mean.”
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Save your act for the next Gone with the Wind audition. I am sure that bearded middle aged men are in short supply for the role of young Scarlett O’Hara.
Break a leg.
Nice
You did not answer my question.
I am truly and sincerely interested in what was so offensive to you.
Oh FF, Bless your heart!
I wasn’t offended, IL. Why would I be?
I have no problem being unliked and find your charges fair.
But you referred to a specific issue and i wanted to understand your views on it.
But perhaps you were not referring to any specific issue at all.
IL, I cant speak for FF but I make a distinction between discouraging a behavior (which I am fine with) and outright shaming people for it.
eg Smoking ban = fine, information about the dangers of smoking = fine, cigarette taxes = fine, standing around fake coughing and glaring at others for smoking = asshole
I don’t smoke anymore but when I did, that fake cough stuff used to just make me laugh. I always thought of this bit by Bill Hicks
“The worst kind of non-smoker is the one when you’re smoking and they just walk up to you [mocks a person faking a cough] I always say ‘shit, you’re lucky you don’t smoke. That’s a hell of a cough you got there. I smoke all day and don’t cough like that. Maybe you were conceived with a weak sperm or somethin’. Maybe your dad was jackin’ off and your mom sat on it at the last second.’ Did I overreact? I don’t think I did. I think that’s kind of cruel, I’m smoking and you come up coughing at me, Jesus. Do you go up to crippled people and start dancing too, you fuck? [starts dancing] Hey Mr. Wheelchair, what’s your problem? C’mon iron-side, race ya. Fuckin’ sadists. I mean the nerve!”
What actually made me quit were three things
1. The taxes. Even before I quit, the financial aspect of it made me cut down. Cutting down made it easier to quit when I eventually did
2. The smoking bans. It simply became less convenient to smoke. Plus, being in smoke free places made me realize how stinky smoking made a place which prompted me to ban smoking in my own house and car.
3. All the information about how harmful smoking is
You seem to know a lot about abusive relationships and dynamics, JH.
Do you have anything to say about the role of emotional manipulation in abusive relationships, JH?
Just curious.
Lynne, we can have a difference of opinion.
Lynne,
I dont necessarily agree with some of what you write but i dont think we are wholly in ideological opposition. I respect that you think peoples’ sensitivities should be taken into account. You seem like a decent human being.
Since i have offended you, i apologize.
I accept your apology, IL.
FWIW, I think you also seem like a decent human being.
Huh! Who was it that interviewed Flynn again?
https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/31/politics/robert-mueller-michael-flynn/index.html
Yawn
“Do you have anything to say about the role of emotional manipulation in abusive relationships, JH?”
I do. As I have made clear, I have no problem fucking with a bigot or those who defend him. I have never pretended to like HW. Nor I have pretended to be nice to him. If he says something valid, I acknowledge that. That’s as far as I’ll go. For the most part my intentions are clear. Sarcasm, which you read poorly, is not abusive because most people understand it. I’ll try to refrain from using sarcasm with you.
To be clear, I do not think your perspective is one of balance or equanimity but one that protects and defends existing power structures. I am happy to defend certain institutions, even flawed ones, aren’t they all. But I’m not much for the kind of civility that is polite to bigots. Some expressions of anger and even vindictiveness is appropriate, especially lately. I don;t know if you’ve noticed but many people out there are angry. And they are voicing it, and that anger expression will lead to change when its goal is for the good of all. When such anger expression is a means to further oppress, it will fail… if we resist.
I had this conversation with my son the other day. Is it ok to troll a troll, to bully a bully. He said it’s ok if you don’t have any other kind of power over the bully or troll. That seems fair. My 12 year old understands ethics better than you do. (I say that with all sincerity)
PS I don’t use the word bigot easily. All people are capable of saying or doing or feeling bigoted things. I will often say what someone said is bigoted but calling someone the name (or racist or sexist or homophobic) requires a higher level of scrutiny. Relatively few turn their bigotry into a political philosophy of righteous indignation. Bigots do.
It’s disgusting to hear a bigot call you what they are. Why do you have so much hate in your heart?
Cue HW with his upside down land rhetoric.
“I know you are but what am I?”– So tiresome.
He is confused and often bewildered by my statements. I am not.
See he did it, just as I was writing that^^^ !!!
Yawn.
FF, you seem triggered by IL. It might be a bit warm for snowflakes, but I thought you were more resilient than that.
I have hate in my heart because hateful people who oppress others to elevate their own already inflated power and wealth are accruing to themselves more power and wealth all while using the imbalance to manipulate deluded people like you into believing they are the heroes.
Donald Trump doesn’t give a shit about you HW. He’s using you and people like you to serve his greed. He has no moral compass whatsoever. He is only angered by slights against him. There is a majority of the population who can not stand him. He deserves all the come uppance he is going to get. And you deserve what little bit you face here.
If you can’t stand for me to defend myself you shouldn’t attack me. Your entire rationale to excuse your bad behavior is based on your BELIEFS about Trump but you act like they are facts. You never figured out beliefs are illusory. Not being able to properly debate someone makes them a bully how?
“See he did it, just as I was writing that^^^ !!!
Yawn.”
It’s the truth. Psychological projection: it’s extremely common. Can’t believe you have not noticed that. You never grew out of it though so I guess you wouldn’t have noticed.
Psychological projection happens, but not all criticism is psychological projection unless you are a megalomaniac like Freud.
You are getting the come uppance! All of you people are. It’s way bigger than you can imagine.

The Mr Warlord appears to be coming a bit unhinged.
Oh no – The Peter said another dumb thing.
Aw yeah
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdjEqP6mhV4
Very strange.
For those who might want some thing intelligent to read.
https://www.juancole.com/2018/02/cherry-picking-disaster.html
I often find Juan Cole’s perspective to be valuable.
Mw too. Thanks Wobblie.
Just saw this line and made me laugh
I’m not a member of an organized political party, I’m a Democrat.
Roll on
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQSPQaqrIiQ
Juan Cole is an interesting individual.
difference between analyzing a mass of contradictory reports and cherry-picking is that the analyst approaches the material with an open mind. You have to weigh one document against another, one source against another, and make a judgment about whose story is more plausible given the contradictions. People who cherry-pick just take things serially out of context and piece together a one-sided narrative.
A nice quote. The Mr. Warlord might consider taking it seriously.
It is doubrful he will.
Of course Samantha Bee has a good take on things. The memo stuff starts at 4:30
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtbcRFSzRrk
But I always destroy you when you get down to facts, Peter. Easily. How could that be unless I am way better at analyzing disparate information? It’s hard to accept I know but deep down it’s dawning on you I am not someone to fuck with intellectually.
“FF, you seem triggered by IL. It might be a bit warm for snowflakes, but I thought you were more resilient than that.”
I am not triggered by IL, JCP2.
I am assuming that was some sort of joke or an attempt, on your part, to put me down? No big deal for me personally but not something I would say. I mean, I don’t know the rules of conduct for a “very progressive person” making comments on a “very progressive blog”, that has been proclaimed, by you, as not an open public forum, but I was operating under the assumption that, in general, we should—you know—even amongst the uneducated-mlive-scumbags, avoid making light of trauma and triggers associated with traumas. I mean, as you know, my post directly prior to your little joke was literally a question about abusive relationships and the role of emotional manipulation. Is“ abusive relationships” not a heavy enough topic for you? Is it supposed to be funny or revealing of some sort of hypocrisy, on my part, because you imagine that I, in my free time, mock people with ptsd or sensitivity issues by calling them “snowflakes”? I’m sure you are very funny and a “very progressive” person but I often have a hard time understanding why you say the things you say especially when you seem to want to wear that “very progressive” label so proudly.
Odd. Again.
“It’s hard to accept I know but deep down it’s dawning on you I am not someone to fuck with intellectually.”
http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/rdlol.gif
I’d like to suggest in lieu of an interview that we hold a public reading of HW’s best lines. Let’s wait until after the memo is released and fully vetted.
It will be even funnier then.
Actually right now I’m picturing a series of greeting cards:
–It’s hard to accept I know but deep down it’s dawning on you I am not someone to fuck with intellectually
–Too bad you can’t substantiate anything you say, but I do.
–Oh no – You said another dumb thing.
–Psychological projection: it’s extremely common. Can’t believe you have not noticed that. You never grew out of it though so I guess you wouldn’t have noticed.
–Why do you project what is in your heart onto someone else?
–That’s a fine way to say what you think. You are learning.
–I am for all the colors of people so to be correct you have to amend that. I don’t classify people based on race like you.
–It’s so gross what you do every day. No reason, only sick putdowns.
–There is no way in hell someone like you is going to beat me with reason. When a man lies he murders a part of the world. Well maybe the world isn’t taking this shit anymore. Happy Freedom Day.
–It doesn’t matter what it SEEMS like I am TO YOU. That’s nothing more than an opinion and reality doesn’t give a fuck about that.
–Like I said laugh all you want but reality is coming and there is nothing ridicule can do about it.
All that is right. You should look at your own posts. Awful. In fact put all the posts up I was responding to. It’s all going like I said. No more laughing out of you veeery, very soon. This is bigger than Watergate by far. Contrite Jean! Ha!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vIU39rDRSI
President Trump’s second speech of the day got cut off tonight on teevee. I have never seen that before during any presidential speech ever. You don’t suppose he was…talking about the memo do you? Can’t wait for the ball to get rolling tomorrow. It has been rolling for a while but it has been behind the scenes. Remember when I posted the Fat Boys in October??? I told you you are all burnt toast back then. You have no idea of the amount of information crunching I do. No joke. This is only a small portion of what is to come.
Why would anyone defend this guy?
“I am not anyone to fuck with intellectually”
Lol
That’s right – that’s why you get fucked up every time you try it. You’re getting it today “Big League”.
HW is an ‘information cruncher’
With all this obscene build up, That memo better be shocking as hell. If it’s not people will ignore it. They’re sick of it already.
“HW is an ‘information cruncher”
How else to explain why I know wtf is going on years before arrogant but ignorant people like you?
The memo won’t be the end-all be-all. It’s probably nothing I don’t already know. It is the beginning of a change for the good of the world though. Estimated 10% of what will be coming out this year or in the coming years.
Are you nervous? Haha. Excited here.
Already back tracking on the significance of the memo. A week ago it was going to shatter our world. Now only 10% of the BS that the Trump team is going to be throwing out as a distraction. Saw where Gates defense lawyers want to quit, the only one who is left is the one is known for making plea deals. Like all criminal conspiracies, once you get one to start rolling over, it starts running up the ladder. McCord anyone.
Boogie, baby, boogie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgYKw3wfyRY
“Already back tracking on the significance of the memo. ”
No, I’ve said the same thing all along. You need to pay attention to what you are commenting on. I said it is the beginning of major changes in this world and there is much more to follow.
Re: Gates – ‘The case centers on work that took place years before President Donald Trump’s 2016 election bid.”

Durf!
With well over a million documents in the hands of the IG investigation it would be crazy to assume a four page summary of illegal spying would cover all of it. Clinton email case report coming in March so that should be a hell of a follow-up to look forward to. Not for you obviously but for me and all the people who want the real truth out.
I would like to know if anyone, anyone who reads this blog is excited about the memo or any of the changes that HW predicts will come?
Does any person lurking here believe that HW has some inside line on the truth?
Is there anyone out there ‘quaking in their boots?’
Personally I’m just annoyed that this won;t end with the memo now. That he’s going to keep going until the IG report. And then the Clinton scandal after that, and after that…
Because this has been how conspiracy theorists have gone after the Clintons for 30 years. If they stop now, they’ll be admitting it was all bullshit. So they won’t stop. People just (finally) stop listening.
HW– Mark finally put up a piece on the memo itself. Why not go over there and talk about it and free up these and the following threads for talking about something, anything else.
HW — Why don;t you try to justify this for Trump? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-green-card-veteran-hunger-strike-20180131-story.html
I don’t know how wise it is to allow immigrants into the USA military.
HW should really be called Hyperbole Warlord. I read what you say and you have been all over yourself about this memo for days.
As I’ve said since the beginning. It will not be collusion over the election that will be sending folks to jail. It is the money laundering they have been doing for years. They are nothing but a crew of cheap criminals. Like every good prosecutor Mueller is following the money, and eventually it will lead to the top. People forget that it was as much the hush money, and the illegal acquisition of it that caused the Watergate conspiracy to unravel. Conversely it was Starr’s inability to get Susan McDougal to role over on Clinton that kept him out of jail.
HW– Immigrants serve in the military because they are patriotic about their new country. They are allowed to serve because too few others Americans want to do the job. Just like the labor many of them provide is in jobs Americans do not want to undertake.
You are anti-immigrant on top of all the other bigotry. Good to know.

[…] Huckabee, for what it’s worth, was really going for broke today, doing her best to rewrite history and cast Trump as a president who has stood up to Vladimir Putin at every opportunity, fighting to protect the sanctity of our electoral system. “(Donald Trump) has been tougher on Russia than Obama was in the past eight years combined,” she told the assembled reporters, dodging followup questions about why, if that’s the case, Obama enacted sanctions against Russia for their election meddling, while Trump still refuses to do so.
