When Donald Trump tweeted out that the press was the “enemy of the people” a few days ago, he had to have known that one of his supporters had just been taken into custody for plotting the murder of several journalists and elected Democrats

Last Friday, Coast Guard lieutenant Christopher Paul Hasson was taken into federal custody, and today, thanks to a filing in Maryland district court, we know why. It would appear that Hasson, who worked at the Coast Guard headquarters in Washington, was plotting to murder several Democratic officials, as well as members of the press. According to the government filing, Hassan intended “to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country,” with the intention, it would seem, of starting a civil war. [Hasson’s internet search history included phrases such as “what if trump illegally impeached” and “civil war if trump impeached,” as well as things like “best place in dc to see congress people” and “are supreme court justices protected.”]

While details are still coming in, it would appear, based on what we already know, that Hassan had not only been stockpiling weapons, but also steroids and narcotics, which he felt would help him in his pursuit to inflict maximum carnage before being killed by authorities. [Those are his weapons in the photo above.] Among those on his hit list of “traitors” were Representative Nancy Pelosi, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, several CNN journalists, and Senator Richard Blumenthal, whom Hasson referred to as “Sen Blumen Jew.” [His spreadsheet of potential targets was included in the court filing that was made public today.] Oh, and yes, Hassan, it would seem, is both a Trump supporter and a white supremacist.

And before you try to argue that Trump had nothing to do with this, and that Hasson wasn’t influenced by the President, I should mention that one of the names on his hit list of “traitors” that came out this evening was “Poca Warren,” a clear reference to Senator Elizabeth Warren, whom Donald Trump refers to as “Pocahontas.”

There are a lot of reasons to find this troubling… and not just because a highly-trained former Marine with some level of government clearance wanted to channel his hate “to make a lasting impression on this world” by killing Democrats and members of the press. No, there’s also the fact that Donald Trump would have known of Hasson’s plot earlier this week, when he again tweeted out that the press is the “THE ENEMY OFF THE PEOPLE,” and suggested that they face “retribution.” [Just think about that for a minute. The President of the United States, when he tweeted that out, knew that the government had just taken into custody a man who was intent, in the words of government prosecutors, to “murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country” — innocent civilians like Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, and Van Jones, all of whom have been attacked by Trump in the past.]

I’m happy, of course, that Hasson somehow slipped up, and was discovered before he could inject himself with amphetamines and start his murder spree, but this does make one wonder how many other people might be out there, building up stockpiles and making plans to act out violently if Donald Trump is, in their opinion, “illegally impeached.”

So, I’m really sorry if I’ve added to anyone’s anxiety level over this gunnin’ up thing. But we really are in uncharted territory. Is a certain amount of the “civil war” threat a psy-op by pootin et. al.? Probably. But there are in fact millions of guns and billions of rounds of ammo in civilian hands. Many of whom are ex military, many of them being Nazi as fuck.

What busted Hasson was work computer screening. Not his firearms or ammo purchases. Those don’t appear to be unusual whatsoever. Which is itself alarming. When I started my gun immersion experiment I was blown away by the fact that I could instantly equip a small platoon without raising any red flags at all. My former military buddies laughed at my incredulity. So again, make your own decisions about how best to resist this apparent threat, but do fucking something.

With respect to the current gun control bill; it’s DOA because of an amendment to bang all semi-autos. I suggest that getting familiar with the culture will help anyone a ton with judging what’s politically viable, in addition to the obvious threat balance issue.

I don’t think I promoted violence against Sandmann. I just want him to face some consequences for his bad behavior and I would like those consequences to be in proportion to his actions. So no jail time or violence or anything like that. I would have been satisfied if his parents who love him sat him down and explained why what he did was wrong and then had him apologize. Unfortunately, now we know where Sandmann gets his horrible behavior from. So my hope at this point is for him to be infamous and for that picture of him to become iconic and follow him around for the rest of his life. So that when he applies for jobs or tries his hat at online dating, people will be able to take this aspect of his character into consideration. He seems to want that too for some odd reason since all of his behavior since the incident seems to be facilitating that outcome.

That isn’t entirely true. I am of the opinion that I take a more enlightened approach than YOU but I also recognize that like everyone else, I have grown up in a racist patriarchal society so I still have biases to work out. I do find it very interesting that you see calls for racial and gender equality as “mal-informed bias and bigotry” . Very interesting indeed. You aren’t alone FF, I have noticed that a lot of white men perceive any loss of privilege as discrimination. My opinion is that just makes you look foolish. Please be aware Mr. Lakoff expressed concern that people would misuse his rules in a way that would make their own re-framing a kind of propaganda. Isn’t that what you are guilty of doing here, Lynne?

In case it wasn’t clear: I am of the opinion that calls for racial and gender equality are obviously good things. I am not falling for that bullshit anymore, FF. You seem to think that getting up in someone’s face with a shitty smirk and a MAGA hat is appropriate behavior FOR A WHITE MAN and yes, I think that is one thing that makes me believe that you are less interested in equality than you are in preserving privilege. There have been numerous discussions here too about systemic issues relating to race and/or gender where you have demonstrated that you are fine with such systemic issues and don’t consider them problems in the first place. I don’t feel that I need to quote you as I usually comment at the time and then you call me the racist in a pretty classic “I know you are but what am I” retort.

Systemic racism and sexism are obvious facts and I have said so many times. I repeat: Obvious facts! It is not a “bullshit” request on my part. Show me the evidence that back up your claims.

You have many times said that Sandmann is guilty of “getting up in [Nathan’s face]”. Can you show me the video that shows Sandmann moving into Nathan’s personal space? If not where are you getting the idea that Sandmann moved into Nathan’s space?

FF, I think that the Sandmann videos are a litmus test. Racists see one thing, everyone else sees something else. I see no value in spending my time going over videos or your past posts in order to prove my point. I don’t feel I need to. I am not going to convince you that you are the shitty person, I think you to be. I already know you are so it isn’t going to convince me to change my mind. I don’t think it is an accident that I haven’t seen a single POC suggest that Sandmann was in the right. I suspect that people who support Trump tend to see him as being in the right based on their own biases about power and such. Often these are the same people who felt George Zimmerman was right in murdering Travon Martin and it also isn’t an accident that many of those same people act as if the consequences people are calling for (which are pretty light and mostly involve people judging him fairly for his actions and don’t involve murdering him) are worse than the consequences Martin faced for his “disrespectful” behavior. That is the world we live in. One where white men will defend Sandmann while not defending the Travon Martins of the world. It is all about power I don’t have to go back through your posts FF. I remember when you said that uppity women who use violent powerful figurative language caused Trump. I remember providing a list of systemic racism in our state and you saying that you disagreed and couldn’t see it. I cannot remember a single time when you acknowledged anything but the most obvious examples of racism in discussions here. If you want to defend yourself, you do the work and find examples of times when you acknowledged something was sexist and/or racist.

HW, I honestly do not have any insight into the editorial decisions of main stream news outlets who retracted their statements. Mostly they didn’t actually do that as far as I can tell. The media outlets I was following just posted the longer video and said that it brings new information into the picture but yes, since often the “new information” was that the kids were harassed by some black guys earlier with an implication that it somehow justified their behavior towards the native american protesters later, I do wonder how much racism played a role there. The message seemed to be that if a white boy is ever harassed by a person of color, they are entitled to be rude to other people of color. i.e. an assumption that all people of color are the same. Admittedly, that does seem racist to me.

I am cool with writing you off as a hopeless sexist and racist guy who can’t see his own privilege. I am sure that otherwise you are a very good person and I know that you probably don’t see yourself that way. I get it too. Being forced to confront implicit biases *is* really exhausting because you have to think. You have to ask yourself if maybe the bias that has been pointed out to you is true or not. Maybe it isn’t. Maybe it is *their* bias? But maybe it is true. Whatever conclusion you come to, right or wrong, it isn’t without some mental work.

OH. That actually makes sense to me now. I was wondering why you were accusing me of not liking confident women. I can see that we can chalk that one up as me sucking at expressing myself, because I did say that your confidence is maddening… What I meant was that you are confident that Hillary would win. Like I said before, it is like you are already making your victory lap with your middle finger in the air. I found your confidence annoying, but more so dangerous right before the elections, because people are still making up their minds. Your confidence, I think, is making you sloppy…Sloppy arguments tinged with overgeneralized ill will toward large swaths of people. You are not being convincing.

You have repeatedly said Sandmann “got into Nathan’s face”, so show us where you “see” that happening. Show us where Sandmann is moving into Nathan’s personal space. Can we all acknowledge that Nathan is frustrating in person? I don’t buy the idea that he was a dick at the rally, but he was hoping to milk the attention afterwords as much as possible by saying whatever the newsman wanted to hear. I also don’t buy the idea that the kid was racist at the rally, he was just a teenager, and it is easy to confuse assholes and teenagers. He also seems to be trying to milk the attention now, to the tune of $250 million. “Sad, I know it doesn’t matter but thanks for saying that.”–Lynne

What exactly are you thanking Sad for? Are you thanking Sad for making up accusations that have no basis in truth? Is there video of Sandmann doing the tomahawk motions and doing the FSU “war chant”? I have not seen any evidence that Sandmann participated in that. I already expressed, weeks ago, that I think there is room to criticize many of the Covington boys for doing the “tomahawk and war cry”. I think it is understandable that many people would take offense to the practice, which is unfortunately, still a common practice at sporting events. Here is what I said weeks ago on the topic:

“I did see the boys doing the tomahawk motions. The boys “performance” was an obvious prep rally or sporting event type performance that they must know and do at school sporting events. I do agree that the tomahawk thing along with the native american type war chant thing is perhaps offensive to many and should be addressed but it extremely common, has not been addressed and they are children born into a world that is a work in progress so I give them a little more leeway than adult bigots and adults who ignore a child’s personal space….”

In addition, I know it asking a lot, but can you or Sad, please track down the conversation where any of us have shown support for having sex with people who are human trafficked? I know it is crazy to ask for evidence because the conversation probably happened a long time ago….OR FUCKING NEVER…but it is good to keep track of truth and lies. Maybe they were not mocking Nathan and his drum at all. Maybe those little white supremacist thug children were actually mocking female drummers from Detroit? What do you guys think?

I am leaning toward siding with Lynne. That is, those creepy-white-supremacist-thug-children are guilty and my hope is that their crime here follows them around for their lifetime, making it very difficult for them to earn a living or enter into new relationships for the rest of their lives.

It was a litmus test along. Just like Lynne said.

On closer examination, the Covington boys were doing both mocking the white stripes chant and mocking the “war chant” popularized by FSU at different times.

I guess the boys being clearly guilty of sexism AND racism is a good thing though.

I am sure those white boys just long for a return to the days when drumming in America was a profession dominated by white males. Too bad. The world is changing. The times where white boys had a privileged position in the percussion section of bands is over forever. I do find it interesting that a loss of white boy percussion privileges are perceived, by unenlightened white boys, as a form of discrimination against them. Interesting indeed.

FF, I understand why you’re not nice to Sad. I see he avoids responding to you seriously.

I’m still in a good mood about this blog being returned to Mark. Is it HW that we can thank for that? Bless his soul if that’s the case. I feel like we should all be lining the streets waving little HW flags.

No way Anonymous. As much as you might not like it, you no longer get to tell me what I meant to say, just because you are white anonymous male privileged poster. I am smirking and not swallowing alongside Lynne because she was right. Let me guess: Strong women with their own voices make you feel uncomfortable. If you want to interpret my “smirk” as a desperate act, on my part, to hide my guilt then that is your business. I don’t care much what you think about me. I am just glad that we are moving as a society toward a time where interpretations of Anonymous posters are no longer given the extra weight–which they never deserved in the first place. I do find it interesting that, like a typical Anonymous poster, you feel entitled to tell me what I meant to say. Like how racist and sexist men miss the days when when they were able to tell women and people of color what to do, think and say. Interesting indeed.

Anyone up for a friendly wager on the Q prediction? Lets give it 6 months? We’d have to define terms of who wins. I’d say no prosecutions for any elite pedo ring or high level Dems for anything of note.

Note, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tony Podesta is charged for crimes similar to Manafort (not registering as foreign agent, illegal lobbying type stuff), so that wouldn’t count as a win.

Let me know and we can set up a bet. $200?

I do appreciate the very positive approach HW has been taken for the last few months. It seemed like after the new year he just decided he want to rise above it. Good for him. I am not sure why Jean stopped posting. Soul Searching? Maybe she gave up hope that her snake tactics would actually ever get rid of HW? Maybe she finally realized that whole program backfired on her?

I’m not betting on a timeline. Q’s posts are often post-dated. Future news proves past drops. They are proven true at a later date like McCain’s death one month to the minute later. Some posts are relevant exactly a year later. The Q Clock highlights past drops in a non-linear fashion. That said it would be timely if it kicks off soon. Trump has tweeted the same thing or thematically similar things as Q minutes after Q has posted it many, many times now. It is going to be so hard to ignore that some member of the press will ask “The Q” of the President: “Do you have any knowledge of the Qanon conspiracy theory?”

Big time arrests might be after six months. Not a good bet for me. There would have to be trust before I would think about betting money anyway and that is not happening.

By the way it’s not just dems. People like the Bush’s are in Q’s sights. Heard anything from old GWB lately? Anyone seen him since Poppy’s funeral? What’s up with his twitter? Protected? Huh! What does that mean I wonder.

I wonder how many children have been abused while we’ve been waiting for Q to make his move. I would have thought that breaking up a massive pedophile ring would be considered something of an urgent matter.

Lots have been saved if you believe the news. There was another bust in California just a couple of weeks ago that rescued children. Q posted on Dec 19 2017 about Saudi Arabia, Haiti and the Red Cross:

    Q, where are the children?

    Seriously. Where are the children?

World Wide child trafficking lanes shut down. If that is true or becomes true I’m sure you will be happy about it like every good person. If Q delivers then we are all going to see a very different world. If the Q plan turns out to be a psyop then I’ll just be like damn, what a mindfuck that was. If it is legit and fails then we will have to do it again and do it right. Look up child trafficking NGOs Haiti. Red Cross could not be involved? I don’t assume that.
