Moments after reading that the intellectual heavyweights of the Republican fringe Sarah Palin and Michele Bauchmann were booked to address the first national conference of the Tea Party Nation, I received the following video clip from my friend Jeff Kay.
Doesn’t it look as though he could be in the audience of the Tea Party convention, listening to Sarah Palin droning on and on about imaginary death panels, what it’s like to read every magazine published, and that night she single-handedly took on that mean old socialist Joe O’Biden?

No comments yet? It’s been almost an hour, and I’m getting tired of waiting for someone to tell me that I’m a genius.
From now on, I’m going to imagine that this is the guy pulling all the strings of the teaparty movement.
Suddenly I’m not so scared.
I’m warming up to the idea of the tea parties too. This gentleman, thoughtful and composed, is making me reconsider my preconceived notions about the group.
“Brother, can you scare a mime?”
I’d love it if this teacup guy were the person getting rich off all this teabaggery. The thought makes me giddy.
