One of the best Senators our country has ever known, Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, has just announced the launch of a new organization dedicated to the lessening of corporate influence in American politics. It’s called Progressives United, and following you’ll see Feingold’s video announcing the organization, as well as his appearance on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show the other night, where he spoke about the group’s objectives, as well as the recent union-busting attempts by the new Governor of Wisconsin. I’d encourage you follow the link above and join, as I just did. The more people he has behind him, the more seriously people in politics and the corporate press will take the message.

And, just because I can’t help myself, I feel as though I need to mention that I’ll never forgive the people of Wisconsin for voting a man like Feingold out of office while voting someone like Scott Walker in… From now on, all my cheese curds come from Minnesota.

If you are thinking of Michele Bachmann she is from MN, not WI
Sorry, I get those two mixed up all the time. The correction has been made.
Feingold has been spending time these past few days in Madison, at the union rallies.
