Trump spiritual advisor Paula White anointed by God in his Throne Room

I’ve been looking, but I’ve yet to find out how much we, the American tax payers, are paying Donald Trump’s personal spiritual advisor, televangelist Paula “satanic pregnancies” White, for the work she’s doing as an official member of the White House staff to brand the President’s opponents as demonic entities that “operate in sorcery and witchcraft.” I have, however, been able to ascertain that her shameless hucksterism has continued to grow more brazen with her ascent to the Executive Branch. Here, for instance, is video taken recently of White, the wife of Journey’s Jonathan Cain, telling her followers that God transported her to heaven for an anointing ceremony, during which she was given a beautiful, magical cape.

I literally went to the Throne Room of God,” White told those assembled. “There was a mist that was coming off the water, and I went to the throne of God, and I didn’t see God’s face clearly, but I saw the face of God… He put a mantle (on me) and it was a very distinct mantle… I saw it very distinctly. The color was like a goldish, a yellowish goldish… And then I saw the Earth for a moment, and (God) brought me back, and he put me in certain places, one being the White House, one being certain continents.” [The mist rising off the water, was clearly inside a bong.]

And this, again, is a woman who, thanks to Donald Trump, now has a position at the White House, a position which gives her credibility, credibility which makes it even easier for her to fleece fearful, elderly, housebound Christians… For what it’s worth, I’m not mocking those who fill White’s coffers. My great grandmother, toward the end of her life, sent checks to televangelists. I can understand the appeal. I can also see, however, why it’s all the more important for those of us who can comprehend what’s actually going on to step up and say, “No, this thrice-married millionaire with a lavish apartment in Trump Tower didn’t really get flown to heaven for a meeting with God.”

One more thing, as long as I’m sharing videos of White. Here’s White telling those assembled at the King Jesus church Supernatural Ministry School in Miami that it’s their duty to pay the church before paying their electric bill, and driving the point home by showing them what will happen to them if they refuse to do so. [Apparently, if you don’t pay financial tribute to those who God anoints in heaven, you’re cursed to walk around with your pants on her head, and your shoes on your hands.]

This, of course, is a common refrain from White, who likes to tell people that their lives won’t go well until they open up their purses and give their “first fruits” to her ministry. “If you don’t send the money, you’ll never see sustainment in your life, and your dream will die,” she told her viewers recently.

And, again, we are subsidizing this behavior. We are, through our tax dollars, legitimizing this charlatan, and it’s absolutely fucking shameful.

I need to try this with DTE… “Sorry I won’t be paying my electric bill this month, but I had to send my first fruits to a woman I just saw on television who told me that she was given a beautiful yellow cape by the Lord.”

I wanted her to say that, when she was in the Throne Room, Trump was there too, sitting at the right hand of God.

“Pizzagate” conspiracy theorist Ann Vandersteel believes Hillary Clinton abuses children, and that most of the world’s leaders are pedophiles. Her theories are so far out there that even Donald Trump’s 2020 advisory board wants nothing to do with her, The Daily Beast reports. Even though it took them 40 days to figure that out, however.

However, that hasn’t discouraged her from joining a group that stands accused of posing as an extension of Trump’s campaign in Florida, Right Wing Watch reports, noting that at one point her Twitter profile claimed she was a member of the “Trump Team 2020 FL Media Advisory Board.”

Vandersteel is the host of YourVoice America is best known for the nonsensical Pizzagate conspiracy theory that claims Clinton and other top-ranking Democrats are operating a pedophile ring inside a Washington, D.C. pizzeria. She’s also spouted 9/11 theories that have been widely debunked and is a proponent of the QAnon theory which posits that Trump is fighting a worldwide cabal of Democratic pedophiles.

Earlier today, in an interview with Dan Perkins on her program SteelTruth, she painted Trump in shining phrases.

“When President Trump came down the escalator with Melania Trump next to him, I saw Christ emanating from that man,” she told Perkins. “There was something that hit me so strongly that I’ll never forget it in 2015.”

Populism doesn’t have to suck but most times it does.
I never said it didn’t work. It works really well to get people elected. It got Trump elected and it probably will get Bernie the nomination. My guess is the outcome of that populist head to head will turn on the economy.

There is no part of me that is surprised Bernie is winning. He’s better than Biden at least. I’ll enjoy watching his loyal supporters face the realities of a general election and even governance.

Way to backpedal in face of again being proven how wrong you generally are. The people are speaking loudly and clearly. There is absolutely no reason why he can’t win a general election. He could have beaten Trump last time. He was a far better candidate than Hillary Clinton and he’s a far better candidate than Biden or Mayo Pete.

There is work to be done. There needs to be some general educating of the public. They like most of what Sanders believes they just don’t understand the term Democratic socialist. Medicare for all is not that hard to understand and healthcare is stIll the biggest issue to voters. Even an out of touch corporate Democrat like Nancy Pelosi is saying as much. Sanders scored 47% of the votes in Nevada as it stands now. 51% of the Hispanics. That’s insane. Are you going to get on the right side of history? Are you interested in supporting the best candidate to beat the worst president in history? Are you interested in finally breaking up this miserable, corrupt two-party joke of a system?

It’s bizarre that a know it all who is generally wrong about her core predictions doesn’t have the grace to acknowledge that something real is happening. Maybe it’s time to knock it off with your childish “Bernie Bros” nonsense. The millions of people behind him aren’t predominantly white guys at all as was proven in Nevada. So knock it the fuck off. Hopefully the DNC knocks it the fuck off too and actually works to “support whoever the candidate is,” as their bullshit mantra goes. Tom Perez needs to go immediately. Anyone in the Democratic party who throws roadblocks up in front of the Sanders campaign this time around needs to go. This Mayo Pete/establishment Dem line about Bernie not being electable in the general is utter bullshit. Even the McDonald’s of mainstream news, USA Today, published a piece that said stop saying Sanders can’t win the general election.

Would I like Bernie to be younger? Yes. Would I like him to be AOC instead? God yes. Or any other woman or race that would please narrow minded, one issue voters like you. He is what we have at the moment though and he is what he is. And he has been since he was a kid supporting MLK. Remarkably consistent and remarkably progressive on issues of gender equality, race, gay rights, economic disparity and all the rest. Are you gonna get in board, Jean? Are you and Lynne and the rest of your single agenda cronies going to grow up and work to defeat Donald Trump?

I have never presumed to know why you vote for Bernie Bob. PleSe don’t presume to vote for me. Also please note that the demands and request for Bernie to call off his attack dogs is coming from many quarters—Including the coalition you love. So maybe step back a bit and listen to the people who agree with you and stop being such an aggressive self righteous and know nothing asshole. I don’t have to like Bernie to vote for him if that’s what’s called for and it probably will be. If his movement (he doesn’t call it a revolution anymore- another sign of his growing reasonableness) turns into something that can check the worst impulses of its followers and Bernie and his campaign team, then that’s a sign that it’s a functional self-correcting movement this go around— not one that demands total compliance and derides anyone with a different point of you— the way you do. Maybe you’ll hear it better when other Berners tell you to STFU and stop gloated and insulting people. (You sounds just like HW btw)

I hope you learn something during this campaign about not demanding that everyone fall in line behind you. It’s going to be a steep learning curve for Berner’s and Bernie. But don’t worry. Putin has your back. Ps apparently, according to Bernie, that’s the fault of WaPo, (really the release of the intel but Bernie has nothing to say about it otherwise) WaPo being the newspaper that has consistently held Trump accountable.

Blaming the WaPo for bad news. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Bernie’s results in Nevada were as predicted. South Carolina and Super Tuesday will be the tell. For the record, I have said all along that Bernie can win this go around, much as I wanted him to go away and someone from the left with more integrity to take his place. I think the general will be tough. I don’t think most Berners have any idea what that’s going to be like. I also think they are going to have to start to embrace the Dem party once they win the nomination or they are going to lose the house and more seats on the Senate. (That may happen no matter the nominee; it all rides on the economy) one thing we know is dem voters don’t like nastiness so the entire campaign is going to have to figure out how to veer positive and for things v against them— all while kicking Trump in the nuts. Sanders should turn ASAP to make Trump the target. I hope he has the balls to piss off a good chunk of the white working class.

I’m waiting For Bernie to distinguish himself from Trump on Russian interference.

“Trump upbraided Maguire in the Oval Office on Feb. 14, saying that the intelligence community had handed Democrats political ammunition during a bipartisan briefing a day earlier about efforts to secure the 2020 election. A senior career intelligence officer who worked for Maguire told lawmakers that Russia had “developed a preference” for Trump. She also described other steps Russia is taking, including assistance to the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
Trump responded not by rejecting Russia’s interference or pressing his officials to work harder to deter it, but by telling Maguire and another senior career intelligence official present that they were being “played,” according to a senior White House official.“

It’s worth noting that Sanders path to victory relies on a coalition of groups he had heretofor referred to as ‘special interests’ and not the white working class voter to whom so many here felt he had special appeal. This is the coalition I’ve been waiting for and I truly hope it holds and I truly hope they push Bernie and his thugs to play better with others. Because the coalition of people behind him are in fact more important than Bernie. They are very hopeful. But He’ll need more than 25% of Dems (13% of all voters) to win the general, so the momentum will need to continue building. We don’t know if his coalition will hold and grow. We do know that momentum counts for more than almost anything in political races— except maybe the weather on voting day, name recognition and the state of the economy.

The reason not to is it’s Bernie.

It’s hard not to be happy for my young friends who are thrilled and believe that Bernie is going to institute the reforms he has promised and that most of America will be convinced to want what he’s selling. All of them however are capable of seeing the terrible sexist treatment that so many HEC supporters experienced at the hands of bro’s. None of them deny their existence. We’ve talked about Paula White. I don’t have any problem with charismatic religious practice and bold imaginative expression of faith. So a lot what Mark objects to doesn’t bother me. Asking for first fruits is gross. That’s kind of obvious. Nothing to talk about.

On the other hand Susan Sarandon just gunned for Pelosi by supporting her challenger. A Warren supporter/bro attacked her verbally telling her to fuck off and calling her irrelevant. He got fired from the campaign.

Because that’s how a campaign with integrity and true progressive values handles online sexist bullies.

    I hope Bernie learns something.

Warren is an amazing candidate. She’s very close to Bernie on many issues. People are choosing Bernie over her and it’s dumbfounding. He has far more negatives and a worse track record. I believe the reason is that she’s a woman. It’s not that everyone who goes to Bernie doesn’t want a woman; it’s just that they are facing reality. Sexist reality. For me our inability to demonstrate courage re nominating a woman or a person of color tells me we don’t have the courage/will for the other hard work of creating progressive change.

FWIW, the main reason I don’t like Bernie is that so many of his supporters are sexist assholes. Bob likes to frequently demonstrate the type here. Which is fine. It still won’t keep me from voting for him if he gets the nomination. It will keep me from volunteering for him since I have no desire to put myself in a position where I would be subjected to misogynistic abuse of the sort the Bros are still dishing out. At least Sanders has *finally* started to call them out instead of his usual gaslighting.

I just hope Sanders picks a woman of color as his VP. The average lifespan of a 78-year-old man who has had a heart attack is 3.8 years and 65% of older MI patients are dead within 8 years! This is a very important consideration even though I am sure everyone hopes he will be healthy and strong for longer than that! (yes even me)

He has made it clear that he doesn’t care.

For those seeking confirmation of Bob’s sexist bully tactics, please check out the end of the last thread. Classic. I’ve had a bunch of lefty dudes triangulate (another classic bully strategy) and tell me that some lefty women don’t like me. Like I’m in this to be liked. And they are feminists too! As though that takes away from my feminist credibility.

Bob thinks feminism represents a narrow viewpoint. That’s a projection of his own simplistic and ideological view of it. He betrays his narrowmindedness every time he posts. Being a feminist also does not stop me from disagreeing with other women (shocking!) Being a feminist does not some women from launching mean girl moves and being queen bees who demand fealty from their friends, and who are so insecure as to mock anyone who argues them. I do kind of admire their catty bitch diva moves. But everyone knows diva moves are cover for insecurity. We are kind to divas because they are sad. And we can all see it.

It’s good to see you back HW. Don’t scare me like that. I thought I was stuck here with Jean and Bob.

I will admit I find Mark’s calm to arms against predatory religions less than compelling since he refused to offer any criticism of Bernie bro’s in 2016 and refuses to take any stand at all on ypsi politics. He won’t even cover it. There are all kinds of predatory assholes out there. How is Rev White any different than HW? Because Trump has anointed her? I guess I think if a movement or blog can’t stand up to the problems within their own ranks then why should we listen to them when they implore us to take a stand about something like Paula White— where we are required no sacrifice or even self-critique. It’s not hard to lambast strangers. It’s hard to live up to progressive principles in ones own community.

You have no reason at all; an individual who produces a factory farm’s worth of pure anaerobic sludge in written form.

Is it not obvious to everyone that people who “speak in tongues” are just too stupid to learn Latin or any other language? Are we all supposed to pretend we don’t realize that, out of politeness?

Jean seems to be judging Mark for not exposing HW. LOL. Holy shit. I am hyperventilating with laughter. You are such a twisted person Jean. For fun though I think Mark should try defending some of his non-sense. I predict if he tried it would not end too well for the “Macho Gringo”.

    Wrong constantly.

You read the post didn’t you Jean? Trump didn’t anoint her. God’s blurry face did. And, as far as I know HW has never been teleported to heaven. Also HW lives in his mom’s basement while PW has a position inside the White House. So I think there are a few differences between the two.

I am disappointed in Mark too, Jean.

He “comprehends what’s actually going on”, after all, yet he beats around the bush constantly. It is his responsibility to explain to the African, African American, Afro-Caribbean and Hispanic people in Paula White’s congregation that they are worshiping God in the wrong way. Tell them how to do it Mark!

Isn’t there a black or brown church in Ypsilanti that emphasizes the Holy Spirit and also passes around a donation basket to be filled by poor people? Mark should protest that shit and inform the duped congregation “what’s actually going on”.

Mark probably would protest if the mayor of Ypsilanti was some mentally handicapped clown who appointed one of those conmen to city spiritual leader, funneling taxpayer money to them. In fact, every reasonable person in Ypsilanti would protest. You wouldn’t see confused freaks sucking up to the scammers.

It’s not my cup of tea but I think it unwise to be judgmental of how other people are practicing their faith, iRobert. It is clear that Mark knows very little about different religious expressions. A lot of things seem very freaky when you are an ignorant outsider failing to comprehend the basic system of coded meaning and the opposing expressions it is reacting to. The truth is—and you can disagree if you want—Pentecostal and charismatic religions are on the rise worldwide. It is probably just not popular within your, or Mark’s, particular bubble. Paint Paula White as a heretical freak at your own peril. She is articulating something closer to mainstream than what Mark thinks, imo.

When I say these type of religious are on the rise—I mean they are exploding especially in Latin American and Afro-Caribbean communities. Check out the Pew studies I shared above….

Oh, I am certain what you say is true, FF. These things are certainly on the rise. Batshittiness is on the rise on all fronts. If the time comes, I’ll beg EOS to save me when I’m in peril from all of my open mockery of it.

You’ll vouch for me, want you, EOS?

“He refused to offer any criticism of Bernie bro’s in 2016, and refuses to take any stand at all on Ypsi politics.”

Yes, it’s true. I did not issue a statement in 2016 condemning the most terrible of Bernie’s  supporters. I have, however, alluded over time to the fact that I have concerns about what a Sanders presidency might look like based on how he’s managed his campaign. And I have, in that context, talked about what I see as a troubling subset of his base. For instance, here’s something I said not too long ago.

“…I don’t see him as being an effective leader. While I like a great deal about his platform, I’m just not sold on him as someone who can either construct an effective administration or build the consensus necessary in Congress to actually deliver on the things he’s been discussing. I’d still much rather have him in the White House than Donald Trump, but, personally, I think there are others, like Elizabeth Warren, who are better positioned to actually make things happen… The truth is, though, I just don’t like they way he’s been running his campaign, and it’s making me nervous. Specifically, I’m troubled by this most recent polling conducted by Emerson College, which seems to indicate that, if Bernie doesn’t win the primary, a huge percentage of his followers may not turn out and vote for whomever does end up running against Donald Trump. And that’s something that I think we need to discuss… Again, I’d like to think that he’s not necessarily calling the shots, and orchestrating these attacks himself, but the fact that he’s either unwilling or unable to stop them concerns me greatly.”

So I’m not oblivious to this stuff. And I’m not ignoring it. But, no, I haven’t used your terminology and called them “Bernie Bros”.

As for my not “taking a stand on Ypsi politics,” what exactly is it that you’d like for me to take a stand on? I’m conducting interviews right now on affordable housing. And I’m trying to figure out this new recycling contract we’ve entered into. But what is it specifically that you’d like for me to devote more of my limited non-working, non-family time to? I think I’ve been open here about the fact that my attention has been pulled away from from local issues because of what’s happening in Washington, but I still have an interest.  And if there are huge fights that are demanding local people to “take a stand”, I’d like to know what they are so I can do a better job of taking notice.

There’s always something cooking in local politics, Mark. I can’t tell you what’s up in ypsi. I have A2 and Whitmore Lske to track. Not my turf. The reality is we have little influence over national politics. I understand you sense of urgency but the local and state stuff impact peoples lives as much or more and it’s easy to have an influence. Glad you are working on affordable housing. Covering county stuff would be a great service. No one does it.

My comments re Bernie bro’s were relative to calls to action re Trumps minister. And you didn’t say anything about it at the time. When it mattered. No one did. A giant progressive movement just decided to ignore and/or deny sexism and other forms of bias. Once Clinton got the mod, people figured it out. I’m not telling you what to say or how to say it but I’m also not here for your calls to action. Too little too late. And we definitely had exchanges where you asked me to prove bias was happening because you just didn’t see it. Whatever. People are getting smarter about this stuff with some exceptions— most are over-represented here.

I’m unimpressed with Bernie’s ability to create a movement truly reflective of progressive values. Man those dudes are the absolute worst and Bernie isn’t much better, subtler but also an enabler and apologist.

Paula dropped the ball, so to speak. First, she failed to get God to assure Trump’s second term. Now she’s failing to lift Trump’s spirits while he struggles to get out of bed each morning. Looking at what a pathetic mess he is (I mean even more than usual) I’d assume his “spiritual advisor” would be making regular daily visits to the White House for “prayer meetings.” Apparently nobody wants to go near him. Melania is finding other things to do with her time.
