From Peaches to the Unabomber

I’m wondering how my friend Ted, in two days time, got from a Peaches concert in Paris, to what looks to be an airplane hanger containing the Unabomber’s cabin. I suspect that alcohol was involved… Anyway, I think it probably goes without saying that I’m impressed… And, for what it’s worth, I’m thinking about running it by that other Ted, and asking what he thinks. (Speaking of Kaczynski, I wonder if he might be persuaded to review CDs for the site?)

Update: Well, it looks as though the Unabomber’s cabin is now in Paris, of all places… at the Palais de Tokyo, in an exhibition entitled Chasing Napoleon. And it’s not really the Unabomber’s cabin. It’s a recreation by artist Robert Kusmirowski. Still, I think it’s cool to have gone from Peaches one night to the Unabomber’s cabin the next.

He wouldn’t be the first to renounce society after hearing Peaches.

Peaches is half way through her Fatherfucker set when you feel a tap on your shoulder. It’s a bouncer. There have been complaints about your leering. You’re told they have a special place for you.

Can you imagine what might come out of a collaboration between the Unabomber and Peaches? The very thought of it blows my mind.
