Just a reminder that several of us local Ypsi/Arbor blogging types will be getting together for a few beers this Thursday at 7:00 at Frenchie’s. All bloggers and blog readers are welcome to attend… So, if you’ve got an hour, and a few bucks, drop by and hoist a happy hour beer with us, your invisible internet friends.
Now I just need to find someone to make a “Lurkers Welcome” banner.

So, were there fisticuffs?
I was at the grand affair last night. The beer was good. the burgers were good.
But most of all it was good to put faces and in-person personalities to the blogger personas. I made some new acquaintances and hopefully, new friendships. And, of course I got to talk with some old friends too.
I’m pleased to report that I witnessed no fisticuffs even after people got drunk.
I didn’t take a head count; but, I’d estimate there were about 15 to 20 people present.
My thanks to Mark Maynard for making the arrangements at Frenchies. Let’s do it again sometime soonish.
I would love to see this event happen again. My husband and I had some unexpected plans come up so we couldn’t attend. Please don’t make this a one-time affair. Thanks!

This was the third time we’ve had one of these events, and I’m sure we’ll do it again… Next time, I’ll be sure to bring Ubu though.
