I want to start a virtual office pool… I think that when Bush’s approval rating hits 30% that something really big is going to happen, and I was thinking that we could make it competitive. I’ve got a buck that says that it’ll be an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. (I really want to say that it’ll be an appearance on “Laugh In”, but I realize that’s probably unlikely.) If you think otherwise, and if you want to pony up a buck, just let me know.

Instead of Laugh-In, substitute Blue Collar Comedy Tour. An appearance with Larry The Cable Guy would appeal to his base whose support has been eroding lately.
Free entertainment has to be a component. Maybe it’s going to be free cable.
I’m in, but it will be something here, and probably in D.C or some beloved American landmark like a disney park or Vegas.
Or maybe in LA, it could be an opportunity to clean out the homeless area there which would hit a business district as well.
Osama is already in captivity or they know exactly where he is and have him trapped. When the darkest days befall this administration they will anounce the capture of the most wanted man in the world.

But what’s probably more likely is that the administration will turn their heads and allow another catastrophic attack to take place on American soil. Patriotism will surge once more, as will Dubya’s approval ratings.
I’ll also put money down on the idea that when the next attack occurs, Rove will make sure there’s a good photo op of the president actually jumping into action instead of
reading a storylooking at a book. I think once someone whispers in his ear that an attack has occurred he’ll rip off his shirt and tie, exposing his brush-clearing arms, jump on a mountain bike and yell, “Let’s Roll!”He’ll then ride right onto Air Force One and repeat the same plain states flyover tour. But this time it will have looked like he did something.
Nixon’t low, right before he stepped down, was %30. That, to my knowledge, is the lowest point that any President has ever reached. If you go below %30, that means you’re even losing the fanatics.
Cheney will resign (or go ‘hunting’), and be replaced with McCain. Approval will skyrocket to 31% overnight.
he-he 30-ONE% that’s funny. Is that all he gets for taking on McCain? Although, Shanster’s prediction is the most realistic of them all. I put my money w/ Shanster’s prediction.
