At least we are consistent.
Except when it comes to welfare (corporate good, individual bad), ending life (prisoner good, fetus bad), religion in public places (christianity good, muslim bad)… I could go on and on, but I’ve got dinner to make. You get my point though.
We can discuss each one of those when you are ready. First one “christianity good, muslim bad”. If you are talking about me being consistent I take great exception to that comment. I don’t judge or care what others believe in or dont believe in. I respect each and everyones right to worship (or not) whatever God (or not) they want. That is between them and their God (or not) and not for me to judge.
Your individual bad is way off the Mark. I believe in the individual and that each individual is accountable for his/her own life. So the individual is good.
Now the “prisoner good, fetus bad” comment I feel that it is not up to the government to detemine the legality of abortion but between each individual and themselves. I would not support that for myself but again each individual should be accountable for themselves and not up to the government to determine. Captial punishment I do support however (maybe some inconsistency there, not sure). But for different reasons than you might think. Both sides are pretty inconsistent on this one dont you think?
So hopefully you are referring to someone else being inconsistent.

JF! I thought you were a dude?! I did not know you could ever be in a “way” that would require that you need decide whether or not you should have an abortion.

I believe in a woman’s right to murder her fetus. Nobody should stand in the way of that. I draw the line at capital punishment for criminals though. They have it hard enough in those cruddy pens we call prisons. It’s inhuman. Who are we to judge anyway? We should spend our money on rehabilitation so the criminals can become productive members of society. Chris, I am on your side. Just because you spread your legs and become a human cum dumster doesn’t mean you have to go through with the pregnancy. It’s no fun carrying that thing around for nine months. What a pain in the ass. I’d pull em out by the head with a pair of tongs in my own kitchen if they ever made it illegal. It’s especially inconvenient in the third trimester when the thing starts fucking with your back and your figure. That’s when I say enough is enough. Crack that thing in the skull and suck out it’s brain. It’s not a child anyway until they cut that cord. Women’s rights all the way! Fuck the fetus!

OK, now I am really confused! Are you a woman too, Mike? And one who has experienced the joys of childbearing no less?
No, but like you I was a fetus at one time. Like I said, I am with you on this one. It’s a woman’s right to choose to murder her baby, not the government’s. The less government interference the better. I do have three kids though so I have endured the inconvenience and stigmatism of childbirth and pregnancy. I left it up to my wife to actually go through with the pregnancy. Hey, if she wanted an abortion, it was no business of mine anyway, right. Even if I cared, I have no right to tell her what to do with her body. And chris, I think we all know that fetuses are not human so it’s not a big deal anyway if they are murdered. I guess it’s not even murder if that’s the case. And even if they are human, they are not more important than a grown woman. Of course I don’t hear any fetuses complaining so I think we are all in agreement on this one.
The fact that the trolls have turned to abortion tells me that they’re desperate.
