I don’t think I ever announced it here, but the winter Shadow Art Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6 at the Corner Brewery. As usual, it will run from noon to midnight, and feature the work of over 40 insanely creative individuals and collectives. Among these are the likes of Kitsch Lab, Swipple, and Non Fiction Design. A full list of vendors can be found here.
The folks at Letterform were the winners of the winter ’08 poster competition. They created the delightfully playful piece to the left. If you like it, and support what we’re trying to do with the Shadow Art Fair, I encourage you to print out posters and handbills, and post them wherever you happen to be. I know it’s unlikely that people seeing a poster in Brooklyn would drive out for it, but it’s a lovely poster, and I like the idea of sharing it even with those not fortunate enough to be here in the thriving state of Michigan.

I lost a black glove at last winter’s SAF. If you find it could you please leave it somewhere safe and post a comment here telling me where it is?
Thanks.
It was very busy, and very crowded, and I’m not positive, but I think, at least for second or two, that I was making love to someone at the last Shadow Art Fair.
Oh geez, now none of us will be able to get in the door!
Who is that Ted kennedy on the list of vendors?
Anyone know if Ypsi is doing any kind of midnight-madness-type $Winterholiday shopping day this year, and what day it is?
I don’t know, Suzie. I’ll ask around and see what I can find out.
