Lest anyone worry, it’s not an issue of my having drank too much champaign. I have a throbbing headache, though. I attribute it to too much juice. I don’t typically drink a lot of the stuff, and I think my system couldn’t handle the gallon I ran through it. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.
Straight juice can be an unwelcome shock the system! Next time try mixing mimosas with lab refined Sunny D and a healthy sprinkle of protein rich orange Jell-O. Or add the juice with with an eye dropper. The last thing you want to do is overdose on crushed fruit which is like 99 percent pesticide anyway. You think I’m kidding, but (trade secret) I dare anyone to try the Sunny D/Jell-O mimosa and ever go back to “juice.”
The blatant irony in following up Friday’s “American revolution is on the horizon” post with a “too much mimosas” post on Sunday, of all days, was brilliant social commentary!
…In Brave New World, they are controlled by inflicting pleasure. In short, Orwell feared that what we fear will ruin us. Huxley feared that our desire will ruin us.
I never said what I was celebrating with champaign… Maybe I’d just developed a revolutionary new guillotine design.
And maybe the champaign was stolen.
It’s the blood of the landowners that causes the headaches, not the juice.
You and this guy.
