Unaware of how political campaigns are run, Elizabeth Warren fires back with the truth

One good thing came of the despicable, lie-filled television ad that Karl Rove’s organization, Crossroads GPS, launched against Elizabeth Warren last week – it got a lot of people to donate money to her campaign. And, now, as a result, she’s got an ad of her own, which is scheduled to start airing tomorrow. If you like it, please share it with your friends. Or, better yet, donate some money so that she can continue to buy air time. As we’ve discussed before, it’s absolutely imperative that we give money, as it’s a certainty that corporate America won’t be filling her coffers like they are those of her opponent, Scott Brown, and independent rat fuckers like Rove. So, if you find the spreading of the “Socialist whore” meme as sickening as I do, contribute a few bucks, and go to sleep tonight secure in the knowledge that you struck a blow agains the forces of evil.

[note: “Rat fucking” is a legitimate political term. You can find the definition here.]

Concerning Rove’s misleading, and fear-mongering ad against Warren, a reader of this site made a good point a few days ago, saying that it would likely backfire in Massachusetts, where, on the average, voters are more sophisticated than the folks in the southern red states that Rove is so used to manipulating. Of course, it could be that this ad isn’t about convincing the voters of Massachusetts to vote against Warren at all. It could be directed at the self-proclaimed Tea Party “patriots” across the country who will come out in droves to fight against a party led by an ugly elitist Socialist whore like Elizabeth Warren.

And, while we’re talking about political ads, here’s another one to check out. It comes from the campaign of North Dakota Republican Bette Grande, who is apparently running for Congress, all hopped up on mama grizzly power, in order to kill the EPA… you know, that organization dedicated to protecting the air that we breathe and the water that we drink… Her campaign slogan, you might be interested to know, is FRAC baby FRAC!

The man in Brockton was a true patriot.

I forgot to thank my friend Andy for telling me about Bette Grande and her jihad against the EPA.

And, Pete, by “the man in Brockton,” I assume you mean the guy who called Warren a “Socialist whore,” and not Minutemen drummer George Hurley, who was born there, right?

Warren: Well, anyway, get this: I spoke to this asshole from Brockton. You know, I told him he was full of shit.. He called me “socialist whore”.

dragon: “socialist whore” (Scoffs) That’s almost a compliment.

Warren: (Agreeing) It’s one of the nicest things anyone’s ever said to me.

Yes, I was referring to the gentleman that cleverly coined the phrase, “socialist whore.”

    George Hurley’s from Brockton? Wow.

Have you been to Brockton? It’s kind of a miserable place. I went to the Brockton fair once, which was anthropologically interesting and humanly frightening at the same time.
