Among our out-of-state visitors at Saturday’s Shadow Art Fair will be a fellow named Reverend Aitor. I can’t at the moment remember where he’s from, but he makes these incredible little unflattering portraits. As it takes him an hour to produce one, though, quantities are limited. The good news is, you can sign up for a slot now on his website. I just signed up for the three o’clock spot. I’m not sure, however, who will be sitting down for the portrait. I think that Clementine, Linette and I will be drawing straws.

According to the artist, you can “simply pay what you can, or think it’s worth.”
Based on listings at his online store, I get the sense that he’s looking for about $30.
You and the puppet should get your portraits done together.
Since you posted this, three more slots have filled. You should get a commission.
the reverend is from toronto! and a rusty old station wagon.
I got one done and I love it. I seriously love it. I might hang it in my kids room to scare them.
