I have the best daughter in the world

Clementine said this to me a few days ago, as I was lying on the floor, growling through clenched teeth.

That’s sweet and it sucks at the same time. Is your back going to be that way forever?

No, I don’t think it’ll last forever, Bracadict Arnold. And, even when it is bad, it’s not that bad, in the whole scheme of things. Back pain, even at its worse, is nowhere near as bad as the one-two punch of anxiety and depression.

More importantly, I hope the image of my cursing and grabbing at my spine doesn’t scar Clementine too badly.

I think I may have already mentioned it here, but the other day, we heard her say, “Holy dammit!”, which is something that I say from time to time when trying to get myself out of a chair. So I know that some of it is having an affect.

Okay, not to take anything away from Clementine, but wouldn’t the best daughter in the world actually _be_ able to take away your back pain with her actual magic wand?

    Just saying.

    Of course, you’re right.

Maybe I should change the title to, “Worthless daughter can’t heal me.”

She’ll be asking Santa for “The Magic Scalpel” for Xmas.

Back Pain sucks. Can’t move, breathe, laugh, anything. I’d rather break my leg.

Maybe she can use the points on that wand for acupuncture.

“Holy dammit”?? That’s a new one to me.

I think I’d prefer anxiety and depression, but I suppose you can get used to anything.

I am a Myrtle Beach chiropractor and I think that MY daughter is the BEST!

I have more faith in Mark’s daughter and her wand than in chiropractors.

I must have missed this, awe…..Do not underestimate the well wished of a child. Doctors of physical medicine or sports med people and then physical therapy…
And then do it. It helped me w/ 30 years of back pain. Don’t do too much or too little. And ice, as I have said before.

She may be. But, before I vote for her, I need for you to do something for me. Ask her for a kidney, and let me know how she responds. The best daughter in the world, I think, would agree without flinching.
