Janet Porter, a Christian broadcaster and contributor to the World Net Daily website, recently warned fellow Christians on that site that they would burn in hell for all eternity if they pulled the lever for Obama. Here’s a clip:
…To all those who name the name of Christ who plan to willfully disobey Him by voting for Obama, take warning. Not only is our nation in grave danger, according to the Word of God, so are you … [T]his election is not about race. It’s not about the economy. It’s about obeying God…
In spite of this, and mid-September findings of the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, which showed that a full 46% of Americans didn’t know that Obama was Christian, it appears as though the candidate is making progress with most religious groups, including Catholics and white evangelical Protestants.
Looks like lots of folks didn’t get the same memo from God that Porter got.

A vote for Obama may get you a one way ticket to hell, but, more importantly, it’ll get you a free beer at the Sidetrack. All you have to do is show them your “I Voted” sticker.
i ask this with sincere honesty and niavete- are there lefty extremists that are as offensive and threatening as some of these right wing groups? my initial thought is that there must be groups somewhere but maybe their numbers are too small to garnish much attention. on the other hand, my gut reaction is that lefties/liberals/independents are a bit more enlightened than that.
dunno.
Lots of folks around the country opting to spend an eternity in hell rather than another four years under Republican rule. That ought to tell you something about how bad the last 8 years have been.
