It’s been closed almost all day, I think. It was around 1:00, anyway.
Dude, Drew and Jimmy Fallon came by my place today, we hung out. They’re partying into the wee hours tonight (on film), and will be filming again tomorrow afternoon too.
Midtown is now OFFICIALLY the coolest Ypsilanti neighborhood in our Cool City. We’ve got Drew. We’ve got Jimmy. And you don’t!

lots of light and glam over there on summit. great entertainment on an august night in ypsi! i can hear the kircher backyard party being filmed over here on normal st.; it is reminiscent of real live ypsi parties and the beep, beep, beep of the boom truck is like monday morning trash pick up.
I’m currently cleaning out my old apartment on S Summit (I wants all my security deposit back) and had to breathe in the diesel fumes from the ginormous generators on the lighting truck all evening. My downstairs neighbor complained to them and the guy told him “Hey, I’m from California– this isn’t any worse than the smog there”. Apparently he also said that they would turn them off at 2 a.m. (before starting up again at 8), but I just left at 3:45 and the place is still lit up as bright as day. It’s loud, too. Word is some folks bordering the set got some compensation, but not us. Luckily I can sleep in my new place.
I saw her knit her eyebrows and burst a production assistant into flames.

A buddy of mine and I stumbled upon Drews Crew as they pack up across from the Elbow Room tonight from a late evening of filming
