For those of you here in southeast Michigan, I wanted to mention that tomorrow evening a fellow by the name of Bruce Jones will be delivering a “shortened and updated” version of Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” powerpoint. Bruce’s presentation will be followed by an update from a local Greenpeace representative on their global warming-related work here in Michigan through the Project Hot Seat initiative. The whole event is scheduled to run from 6:30 to 7:30 on the third floor of the Ann Arbor District Library (Fifth and William).
Speaking of “An Inconvenient Truth,” I believe that tomorrow morning is when we’ll find out whether or not Al Gore has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Assuming he wins, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by watching “An Inconvenient Truth” with a room full of bright, motivated people and discussing what it is we’re going to do about it.

If and when he wins, he will announce he is running for President, and I can start wearing my Gore/Obama ’08 button again.
If he doesn’t announce within a week of getting the Nobel Prize, I’m going to have to accept the fact that it isn’t going to happen and move on with my life. (I’m already about 90% of the way there, but I still hold out some hope.)
And if Gore wins, he will be joined on stage by Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny, because there are as real as Global Warming. Gore’s a fool, his movie has 11 documented lies and distortions. Global warming is a lie invented by lefties like you who are stupid enough to be spoon fed this sky is falling hype every few years.
According to NPR just now, Gore (and the UN Climate Change Commission) won the Nobel Peace Prize.
No word on his Presidential bid…
I want a Gore-Obama button too!
Ed, please be a dear and post the “11 documented lies and distortions” to which you refer. I think it would help make your point a little stronger (or at all).
