Dear Congressman Dingell: Like many of your constituents, I’m aware of your strong history of leadership on environmental issues, such as the Clean Water Act. That record is increasingly at risk of being overshadowed, by the perception that you stand in the way of increasing fuel economy standards. All eyes are on you. Show the rest of the country that Michigan stands ready to lead the fight against global warming, by yourself leading the way towards better CAFE standards. Besides making your constituents proud, you’d be increasing confidence in our auto makers nationally, by saying to the country that they’re up to the challenge. Sincerely, Ben Hansen
