A date has been set. A poster has been chosen. The mugs have been washed. And the makers of cool stuff have been selected.
So, it looks like it’s really going to happen.
The third Shadow Art Fair will run from noon to midnight, Saturday, July 14, at the Corner Brewery.
So, put it on your calendar and start selling your blood for money.
If all goes according to plan, there may even be a new issue of Crimewave.

Oh, I love the poster! Who did it and can I get one?
I heard a rumor somewhere that you would be offering free, “no questions asked”, pet euthanasia this time around. Is there any truth to it?
I just saw a sign for Elvisfest in Depot Town. Apparently, it’s also on July 14 this year. I don’t imagine there’s a lot of audience overlap, but it could make things a little more interesting. (Linette and I went to Elvisfet the first few years, but stopped when it got out of our price range. Maybe they could be persuaded to have special pricing for people with Shadow Art Fair stamps on their hands or something. It might be a good thing for them, as it would bring in a whole new demographic.)
Should I move this idea up to the front page in hopes that someone involved in Elvisfest might see it?
I’m picturing a West Side Story-like gang fight between the Elvisites and the Shadows, snapping fingers and switching switchblades.
How about a Zombie-Elvis at the SAF? $5 per polaroid.
