Calling our upcoming November 2nd event, “a great example of a grassroots drive by people who care about their community,” the Ann Arbor News came out on Friday with a very strong endorsement. We’re happy to have it, as it will no doubt bring a lot more people to the event, but, at the same time, it also puts quite a bit more pressure on those of us planning it. (And, ultimately, it’s going to effect you, dear readers, as I’m not going to have much time for blogging this week… So, you can blame the Ann Arbor News if you don’t get your daily dose of whatever it is that I do here.) The entire Ann Arbor News editorial can be found here.
If you have thoughts on the event, we’ve also launched a a blog where you can leave comments.
See you Thursday… I’m going off to work on the introductory presentation now.

Mark … I’ll be at the Hope Clinic Meeting that night … but I left a long comment on the Future blog site.
We GOTTA get the momentum built from the bottom UP. The City and the DDAs have accomplished ZIP during the last 25 years, save for the immediate Depot Town area.
Have a great meeting … light the fire!
So, if they were painting the trim on the Mongolian restaurant at the beginning of May, how long has it been open now – about three months? Four moths?
