the janice dickinson modeling agency

I know it might be a lot to ask, but I was kind of hoping that someone out there in the MM.com audience could call me tomorrow night at 10:00, and walk me through the first episode of the new reality show, “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.” Since Linette and I didn’t break down and get cable for the last season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, I can’t imagine getting it now, but there’s this ugly, stupid part of me that can’t help but be interested in the mean-spirited and perpetually-drunken former model’s effort to re-launch her career in the wake of “America’s Next Top Model.” Like I said, I know it’s stupid, but I can’t help myself. Anyway, your assistance would be appreciated.

They should have funded my project, “Last Chance: Janice Dickinson’s School for Bad Girls.”

    OK, it’s 11:03.

And I’ve checked the phone, so I know it’s working.

You’re all dead to me now.

I don’t ask for much from you.

    Seriously.

    You should be ashamed.

I feel really dirty and ashamed for caring… I think this is how it must feel to be a closet ball-shaver.

The last season of curbed SUCKED, w/ some pretty predictable racism. eg-one show has Larry attacking his people so much that my Catholic husband (raised not practicing) said that he felt that Larry was being antisemitic. I replied, that yeah he was, but only so he could attack other races on upcoming shows. And then? A show about an Asian dry cleaner eating a dog…Christ, can’t they come up w/ something a little fresher than that?

And dude, as much as I find this show potentially fascinating I am surprised that you expect your readers to watch it…even for you.

I’ve also missed a few seasons of The Surreal Life now, and they don’t come out on DVD afterward.

And to think…I used to think Flavor Flav was an unrealized political genius…I guess you could say he still is. Kind of in the same way I am an unrealized supermodel.
