Quietly. My family is celebrating on Sunday, in Toledo, due to sister’s work schedule. So today was very relaxing and laid-back. I’m about to wrap presents, and that will be about the extent of holiday exertion for today.

We went last minute shopping today, whew..bad traffic, really bad drivers, but the stores seem to have quick cashiers. Have a Merry Christmas “The Maynard Family”! Norm, Tracy and Ava

I’ve watched the Sundance channel all day while I house/dog/cat sit for my Aunt and Uncle.
It’s not bad, but it could be better.

    Tomorrow, should be ok.

Off to have a couple of drinks and fall asleep with the TV on.

Went on a snake hunt with the neighbor kid. Found one and I think he killed it before I could stop him. Who would ever think you could find a snake in December?!? Molly and I went to the grocery store to get dinner for “the day”. We went to a mexican restaurant and got drinks. I am now putting together a soccer goal that santa brought and watching the pope give his midnight mass. Who knew they televised this? Who designed his hat?

I’m done loading up the car, and now I’m downstairs, waiting for Linette and Clementine to come down. Linette threw an elbow into my eye last night (by accident, I’m told). It’s still throbbing a bit, but it hasn’t started to bruise. I’m wondering if maybe I wasn’t meant to have eyes. Should be some fun Christmas photos though…. Both eyes full of blood. One twitching. One back and blue… Maybe I should just lop my head off and be done with it in the new year.

Oh, and Merry Christmas to all of you… In spite of the current condition of the world (and my eyes), this has been a very good year for the Lao Maynard household, and we are very thankful. All things considered, I hope your year as been good too.

    Peace,
    Mark

Mine is so going that it’s gone. You know it was good when you need another day to recover from all the activity.

after a few Irish letter bombs I demanded the airing of the grievances, no one took me up on it, which makes me deeply suspicious…
My nephew, apparently, drinks gin and peach soda, which also makes me suspicious

I prefer the feats of strength to the airing of grievances myself.
