a bad week for christopher reeves, a good week for me

I think I’ve just been asked to star in a new Superman film. The producers sent the following email twice, so I know they must be serious… They were in such a hurry, they didn’t even capitalize a lot of the words!

My guess is that one of the movie’s producers has read my site and heard me mention the fact that before I write each evening, I change into a tattered, old blogging leotard. Knowing that I had access to this superhero-like costume, it seems only logical that they would have then considered me for the role of Superman’s new nemesis. And, as blogging is very much in fashion right now, they no doubt had the sense that an evil Bloggerman would put the proverbial asses in the seats… This is all very exciting… I will keep you posted.

I’m waiting on pins and needles. Why don’t I get wonderful email like this? I must not be random enough.

I’ve been practicing my, “I’ll get you, Superman,” face in the mirror all day. I’ve almost got it down.

Hey, you got a deal! I got the same offer except they wanted $200 from me!

Better act fast before the cost goes up again!
