The UK paper, the Gaurdian, has a good story on the events of the last 24 hours, the big gamble we took in aiming for Saddam last night, and how things have played out since.
And this is from yesterdays New York Times, but I never got around to posting it It seems as though the Republicans are trying to get Bushs big tax cut for wealthy Americans pushed through the Congress before telling the American people how much this effort in Iraq is going to cost us. (story) That really pisses me the fuck off. Is this really the time for us to consider cutting the taxes of the wealthiest 1% of Americans? Is that responsible leadership? Is that really our nation’s priority right now… For God’s sake, we have pressign matters at hand, not to mention french fries to re-name!
