I know that it’s easy to make people look bad through editing, and I imagine that you could interview 100 random Obama supporters and get some pretty uneducated responses, but, with that said, I do believe these interviews with Palin supporters in Columbus are telling.

To be fair, these people all received their graduate degrees from Ohio State. You can’t expect them to have any idea what they’re talking about.
Thanks, Mark. I watched about three minutes of the clip, at which time the homemade scone (a colleague surprised us with cranberry orange scones) began to lose its flavor. After I stopped the youtube video, the scone became delicious again.
“Cut all the spending”… guess she never sent her kids to public schools, used a public road, has power in her house and has no relatives nor friends in the military.
Looks like a line outside the Jerry Springer casting office.
Where were all these people when Bush/Cheney and his Republicans ran up the the largest RED ink in the history of the USA?
Phonies in Reality.
Look, I think Sarah Palin is a joke and when she was in Grand Rapids (the first stop on her tour) if you watch that video she says Michigan and Alaska are alike because of hunting, fishing and soccer moms…seriously…
To be fair with retrospect to this video though, like Mark said, poll 100 Obama supporters and you’ll get some uneducated results as well. How many people voted for Obama simply because he was black or because it was the cool thing to do?!
Oh and yes, it’s true if Palin is somehow elected President in 2012, the world will meet its end.
I’m not supposed to find these women sexy, am I?
From Think Progress:
RADICAL RIGHT — GLENN BECK CO-OPTS THE ANNIVERSARY OF MLK’S ‘I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH’ FOR HIS MARCH ON WASHINGTON: While promoting his latest book at “a festive campaign-style rally” in The Villages in Florida on Saturday, Fox News host Glenn Beck announced that he was crafting a “radical” “100 year plan” that will “restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting.” “We need to start thinking like the Chinese,” Beck told the crowd of 25,000 people. For weeks, Beck has been hyping his big plan on radio and TV, with cryptic hints like, “Coming this January, my whole approach changes.” On Saturday, Beck revealed that his “new national movement” begins with a series of conventions across the country where supporters can go to learn about “how to be a political force in [their] own neighborhood and country.” The conventions will culminate in a new book by Beck called “The Plan” — which will “provide specific policies, principles and, m ost importantly, action steps” — and a march on Washington to launch it. Hot Air’s Allahpundit notes that the date of Beck’s march on DC “happens to be the anniversary of the ‘I Have a Dream’ speech” by Martin Luther King, Jr. “Eschewing the title of ‘leader’ is thus a curious display of modesty from a guy who thinks his book launch is worthy of a modern-day March on Washington with him in the MLK role,” writes Allahpundit. Beck’s 9.12 Project will also become involved in voter registration drives and will co-sponsor a different march on Sept. 11, 2010 “to voice unhappiness” with the progressive “agenda.” Beck is often overtly hostile to the entire political class — he said Saturday that both parties are complicit in creating a “socialist utopia” — but as Media Matters’ Ari Rabin-Havt told the New York Times, “Beck sounded more like a presidential candidate than a pundit.”
I doubt Palin herself could answer any better than any of the people interviewed. And they probably have a one-up on her, since they’ve actually read her book.
I wonder what the love child of Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin would be like.
It’s just the crafty schemes of the biased east coast liberal media, from their elite ivy league schools, asking all those ‘gothcha’ questions.
The emptiness of their answers and lack of knowledge of what Palin’s ideas, policies, and thoughts on the future are, exemplify why followers of Republican politicians are so easily mislead by people such as Palin, Beck, Fox News, etc. Empty heads are so easily filled with fluff and entertainment style politics which lack any real substance.
Everybody who is not in your group is stupid and evil. Never forget that. It’s what makes you a better person.
