People seem to forget that W. showed himself for a monumental moron in his debate against Gore. Gore performed like a champion: smart, reasoned, presidential. George, obviously overmatched, could only stammer about “fuzzy math.” You know what they say about history.
Wow, this is a train wreck.

Couric: I’m just going to ask you one more time – not to belabor the point. Specific examples in his (McCain) 26 years of pushing for more regulation.
Palin: I’ll try to find you some and I’ll bring them to you.
I don’t think this tactic is going to work on Biden in a debate.
Yeah, you wouldn’t want to belabor the point that almost everything these assholes are saying can’t be backed up at all by evidence or history. God forbid we belabor that point.
You’ll notice the recent absence of our friends ytown, publius, namaroo, and resident republican. I’d like to take credit, but I think it’s their own inability to digest the truth that drives them into hiding.
Oh, they’ll be back and cry that Palin has been unfairly maligned in the “liberal media” by having asking a politician some reasonable questions.
Yep, Bush did terribly to you or me in those debates with Gore and with Kerry, but to most Americans he performed beautifully by taking Gore to task for his complicated answers. Remember McCain’s “Straight Talk Express”… people want things in terms they can understand, which is mostly uninformed and substanceless.
It makes them feel warm inside. Reagan? The Democrats have never figured this out, unfortunately.
They are suspending their comments until this crisis is over.
Technically Couric is an Evil Gnome. As such, she is free to attack Palin without fear of God’s divine intervention.
I thought it was pretty apparent to everyone that Couric was a witch ever since she performed that bizarre ritual live on air a few years back…you know the one where she stuck a camera up her ass.
