I hear Dingell’s global warming town hall meeting in Dearborn was a little different than the one here, in Ann Arbor. I hear that the crowd was smaller, and that Greenpeace was more vocal. And Fox 2 News came out to cover it. If you’re interested in hearing more about global warming, and what Greenpeace has planned, I’m told that there’s a letter-writing session taking place at the brewery tonight at 7:00.

Nobody has posted any comments for hours! I guess everyone is down at the brewery, letter-writing. I’m lonely. Can any of you out-of-towners who usually never post please keep me company until the usual posters get back? Maybe someone could transcribe the YouTube video above for me because I can’t hear a frikin thing when I play it. Well, at least it was good to see that Huel Perkins is in fact working for me. I have to be reminded every now and again. I just have tendency to slip into these moods where I get the crazy notion that he’s actually working for a union busting bunch of tabloid propagandists. But then I just look at the bottom of the screen and I’m brought back to reality. Thank god for Fox News Graphics an tag lines.

Rebecca Sobel-Green Peace: We don’t have a year, 2years, or 3 years to debate this legislation in Congress. This legislation needed to happen Yesterday. If congressman Dingell can’t deliver on Nancy Palosi’s Promise to deliver real global warming solutions in congress, he needs to step aside and allow someone else that can.
Dingell: If, uh, somebody has a concern they should make it available to us so it can be included in the judgments that congress is going to make in addressing the problem of climate change and global warming.
