a few of the local people who make up for my sucking

I’ve pretty much sucked on the local citizen journalism/activism front lately, and I apologize. Fortunately, though, we have other local bloggers who are far surpassing even my most ambitious local efforts to date… There’s a City Council meeting tonight, so maybe that’s why it’s at the forefront of my mind. I’d like to go, but Linette’s working and I’ve got the baby. Anyway, I’ll be turning to local blogs like Ypsi Dixit and East Cross tomorrow to find out what went on… I don’t say it nearly enough, but I really appreciate what they, and everyone else on the local scene, have been doing lately, especially Laura “Ypsi Dixit” Bien’s work to organize the community to fight against the proposed cuts in local bus service. It’s inspiring.
