Jason Bateman dropped by Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC set the other day, and, in between answering questions about what it was like to work with Will Smith, for a faux-fawning Olbermann, mentioned that an “Arrested Development” movie is in the planning stages… For those of you unaware of the brilliance of the original series, I’m told that every episode can be watched for free here.

I know this is about Arrested Development, but the New Yorker had an an interesting article on Olbermann.
Suzy Kolber, has said that Olbermann was sometimes so overbearing that she would lock herself in the bathroom and cry.
Good to know, what it takes to be successful in cable news. And, I do like the neologism “visual cocooning.”
A few years ago I heard a journalist being interviewed. I can’t remember the specifics, but he was telling about how Sam Donaldson had shoved his pregnant wife (who was also a reporter) aside in order to get to a phone and call in a breaking story first. He said he knew at that moment that he didn’t have what it took to really make it to the top in the industry.
Did you know Keith Olbermann and Laura Ingraham hooked up? That’s so hott!
Should I know who Laura Ingraham is?
She’s that hot radio talk show host, and now she has a show on Fox too, called “Just In.” I think I’m in love.
OK, I checked out her site… She’s OK… But Ann Coulter has a hotter adams apple.
Michael Cera, the last holdout for the highly anticipated Arrested Development film, has apparently just signed-on to play Michael Bluth… So, all systems are “GO.”
Doubtful that they’ll shoot in Ypsi, but maybe we should start a letter writing campaign.
Now it’s not just a movie, but a series of short Arrested Development episodes that will lead up to it. The movie itself is slated for early 2013.
