pterodactyls and olive branches

I just received the first submission in my “Please Draw a Pterodactyl with an Olive Branch in its Beak” competition. This one comes from Atlanta, Georgia and it’s by a young man named Ken Boyd. I think it’s quite nice.

isn’t that image from the horrible program called the flintstones.. How are we ever going to get our children to believe that dinos and humans never lived together if we keep bringing up images like this. This looks like something I saw at a creationist museum in WV.

Please, please, please send in a drawing, Mr. Galt. I want to see what you’re capable of.

What ever happened to the Flintstones? I never see it on anymore. Must be on during the day while I’m at work. I love that episode where Fred and Barney run around judo chopping all those Bond bad guys. “A-judo chop! A-judo chop!”

On another note, the Lost episode last night had Sawyer referring to the kid as Kazoo when he was bugging him too much. Good Flintstones reference. Boy, The Flintstones sure jumped the shark when they brought that crazy martian on!

The Flinstones jumped back over the shark, however, when they had the Bewitched tie-in. The cartoon Darin was better than either of the flesh and blood ones.

Yeah, what was Kazoo in the larger picture (do you remember his jaw clenched Waspy inflections-was that the snotty doctor from St. Elsewhere doing the voice)? I mean they all bring in aliens. Happy Days:Mork from Ork, Popeye:please somebody tell me the name of his alien or I won’t be able to sleep tonight, Six Feet Under: Lisa Kimmel

you guys have all forgotten the best creationist show.. Land of the lost. They even had reptoids in it (sleestacks). They had an awesome pyramid thingy with this control panel.. every time they messed with it something went horribly wrong, but they just kept on playing with it. I loved that show when I was a kid.

chris, popeye (Mr. Eye) had the Jeep. “Jeep, jeep, jeep!”

john, Steven took care of Land of the Lost over at Adam, Eve, and pterodactyls.

I don’t think I would want to see Flintstones banned as much as I would want to see Hanna-Babera sue that Hamm guy for ripping off their idea and turning a buck off it by calling it Christianity.

Please stop talking about me. I’m trying to put all that Land of the Lost shit behind me.

John Galt/mike you’re stealing my material.

Are you suggesting that all of his thoughts aren’t original, Steve?

I wasn’t featured in “The Surprise Guest,” by the way. I was in the middle of a contract dispute at the time and the producers replaced me with a small boy coated in thick, black slime. (I’d taken the Chaka outfit home with me.) They called him “Slooba.”
