For any of you reluctant to try Luwak after hearing that they make coffee from cat poop, I wanted to point out that they only do that on special occasions, and they always warn people before serving it to them. 363 days a year their coffee is made from regular coffee beans, not those predigested by feral cats in Asia.
Next to the Cherry Street Deli in Grand Rapids, Cafe Luwak is my favorite sandwhich shop. They're may be something as good sandwich shops in Chicago, but I haven't found it. If anyone want to give me they're free sandwich I may take the train out there. Adam?
Do the satan worshippers still meet at Cafe Luwak? Maybe I'll swing by some evening for a discount latte and a lively discussion of classic Danzig songs.
I have to say that there's a special place in some special place reserved for my wife and me: we used our MM Luwak coupon while dining with MM and his family. It was an amazing dining experience. Unfortunately it was an asynchronous dining experience, as mm and ll and little c had had their dinner prior to our joining them, but we did eat in their company, and they did eat their desserts in front of us (no coupon for the ice cream, however).
Hmmmm.... Linette, Little-C and I did eat at Luwak a few days ago, but we ate there alone... Now that I think about it, though, there was a creepy looking couple sitting at the table next to us who kept kind of inching their chairs over toward our table.
