beer with bloggers this thursday at frenchie's

Linette’s super busy with her design clients, so I didn’t feel as though I could impose on her to make a cool, little graphic advertising this Thursday’s event, so Clementine and I threw something together. Hopefully, it will serve the purpose. (Linette’s been getting by on about 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night for the past two weeks, and I didn’t want to make things any more difficult for her, especially seeing as how she just helped us out with the new Shadow Art Fair poster.)

I haven’t spoken with everyone in local blogdom yet, but I’ve heard from about half a dozen people that say they’ll be there… And, I expect that more will come out of the woodwork once it becomes know that Linda French is making us a deal and offering pints of anything on tap at Frenchie’s for $2 a piece… Anyway, it should be fun. So, if you’re a blogger or a blog reader who lives within walking, biking, or driving distance of Depot Town, stop in at Frenchie’s and say, “Hello.” And don’t worry - there’s no formal meeting or anything to sit through – just a lot of self-important, antisocial misfits sitting around and talking shit about one another and their grandiose plans.

So, if you could help me to get the word out about this litle holiday party, I’d appreciate it. (Feel free to use these images if you like.)

See you there… The beer starts flowing at 7:00.

Quick question: Will readers have to check their weapons at the door, or should we arrive with our own security details?

How stupid do you think that I am? I can smell a trap a mile away.

clementine has to be the most gorgeous child i've ever seen outside of my grandchildren of course. i'd be skewered by my daughters if i said otherwise. but seriously, she's a real knockout.

I've kindly invited City Council -- past and present -- to attend. We'll see who has guts and who doesn't.

Or maybe we'll only see who likes cheap beer.

Thanks for organizing - it was good to see everyone and to make the long, long pilgrimage from Ann Arbor in the sleet.

I went for a bit. Same problem with everything Mark organizes:

Too many people showed up, and, like always, not one of them bought me a beer.
