skeksis found in russia

After several days of tedius research, I feel confident when I say that the mystery carcass which recently washed up on the Russian coastline is that of a full-grown, male Skeskis… The pride I feel at having cracked this puzzle is, of course, somewhat tempered by the realization that I, and everyone I love, will soon be enslaved by these vile creatures. (And, suddenly, the Bush administration isn’t looking all that bad.)

I'm at a bit of a loss as I've never seen The Dark Crystal. I was just familiar with the Skeksis from a Jim Henson book that I have... If it's worth seeing, let me know and I'll add it to our Netflix queue (which is fast approaching 500).

It's about as sophisticated as fraggle rock.

I've never smoked fraggle rock. I hear it's quite smooth though.

TDC is a good film but I wouldn't call it great. It's got a standard mythic plot in which a hero has a Great Task to achieve. It's quite interesting visually.

It's nowhere near as entertaining as Veterinarian's Hospital.

Why didn't this post of mine get national attention? I still think it's the most brilliant thing I've ever come up with.
