In stark contrast to the over-sexualized children’s dance troop I shared with you in horror last night, I’d like to present Rock and Roll Meditation.
These three girls, calling themselves Rock and Roll Meditation, took the stage of the Dreamland Theater last night, once we wrapped up episode three of Dreamland Tonight, which went incredibly well, by the way. The video isn’t great, but, you’ll have to believe me when I tell you, they were absolutely wonderful, and we’ve asked them to come back next time… I love the idea of having kids dance to the Stooges at the end of every show. It kind of gets right to the heart of Dreamland Tonight.
Special thanks to last night’s guests; Bash Boulder, Forest Juziuk and Dug Song, the men of the Ypsi Skate Park, the group Manhole, and the entire cast and crew of Dreamland Tonight. It was another beautiful Ypsi moment, and they deserve all the credit.

This is the difference between Ypsilanti and Florida.
I will SO steal this concept and make a fortune with it. Rock and Roll Meditation could be bigger than Bikram yoga.
They gave me their autograph!
Yeah, I’ve got one around here too, Naia. I plan to hold onto it in case they ever get discovered and become huge.
As for favorite parts, I like when Amelia wipes her mouth, toward the end.
They’re great kids. We’re lucky to have landed here in Ypsi when we did. Lots of great parents and great kids.
Much better than the male dance troupe, Rock and Roll Chemical Castration.
