Pencil Paparazzi: Hilary and the umbrella

hilaryandpaTonight’s contribution to the Pencil Paparazzi file comes from Ypsi resident Dan Carroll, who observed the following.

This drawing comes from my drive-by sighting of Hilary Swank as she hustled down Cross St. All the actors’ trailers are set up across from the Freighthouse, so I assume she was on her way from there to the shoot location at Sidetrack. A soft drizzle was coming down and the Production Assistant with the umbrella was trying to catch up with Ms. Swank. She eventually stopped, laughed and let the PA catch up to her.

It was at this point that I was able to observe her posterior in an effort to confirm her identity. Affirmative.

Sidetrack has been set up with the Aidan’s Pub signage on the River St. side of the building. Part of the outdoor seating fence has been taken out to give the appearance of a “front door” there.

Why does this drawing avoid asses altogether? Are people becoming afraid to draw it? Is it like drawing the Prophet Mohamed?

Oh yeah, that’s Hillary Swank all right, I’d recognize that strut anywhere.
