so this is what it feels like to be popular… at least in michigan

I just received an email from BlogNetNews telling me that MM.com dropped from the 7th most influential liberal blog in Michigan to the 8th.

I’m not sure if there’s a direct correlation, but, according to Google, we’ve also fallen precipitously, from our lofty position in the highly competitive world of ball shaving commentary.

As for being the 8th most influential liberal blogger in a giant state like Michigan, I guess it’s good, but so far it hasn’t opened a lot of doors, other than the fact that John Edwards looked me up when he was in town. Hopefully Obama’s camp is as web-savvy.

[It’s also cool to see that Arbor Update cracked the top 20. If there are any other local blogs on the list, I don’t recognize them.]

So, what happened? Did one of my goons come over and visit you?

So my second attempt to destroy Mark’s blog seems to be failing. I thought I almost had the fucking thing crashed but then saw his traffic went up again in August. The only bright spot for me is that my hero Jeff Gannon is back to kicking Mark’s ass.
