getting face taint into the american lexicon

I found myself being overcome by rage today at the thought that I’ve still not received even the tiniest bit of recognition for having coined the phrase, “face taint,” to designate that little stretch of skin between the nose and upper lip. I see other people making headway with their interesting, little phrases and the like, and it just makes me sick. There is no justice in this world.

I’ve heard it called a “flume”. Sounds awfully French to me. I’m all for Face taint.

Is this where the posts start repeating?

    That’s crazy-talk. It’s called a philtrum.

Why not just start calling your head a brain holder?

Does this also mean I have to look at your doughy lips some more?

I think “Brain Cozy” is cuter.
Especially if your skull is hand-knit.

You know, if you make up enough of your own words and insist on using them, the men in white coats come get you with a net.

Mark — Will it make you happier if we all call you “taint face”? If you bite off enough fingers, we can alternate it with “geek breath.”

If you like to make up words and try to get people to use them, I suggest a visit to http://www.langmaker.com.
