You’ll find the complete transcript of Barack Obama’s speech to graduating high school seniors here, but these are the parts that most caught the attention of my family this evening. I share them as a reminder to everyone in the audience that real leadership still exists. We may lack leadership in the White House, but we still have capable, thoughtful and inspiring leaders in the United States. And I take some comfort in that.
Fmr. Pres. Barack Obama: "Doing what feels good — what's convenient, what's easy — that's how little kids think. Unfortunately a lot of so-called grownups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs, still think that way." #GraduateTogether #ObamaCommencement2020 pic.twitter.com/yhRqTH59In

Former President Barack Obama: "All those adults that you used to think were in charge and knew what they were doing — turns out they don't have all the answers. A lot of them aren't even asking the right questions." #GraduateTogether #ObamaCommencement2020 pic.twitter.com/cKL8kT136Z

In the interest of fairness, I thought that I’d also share something that the sitting President of the United States tweeted out this evening. [note: It’s fucking insane.]
Here’s what they do. Obama makes the ultimate sacrifice and at the very last minute announces he will be Biden’s VP. Close to the election so they can’t try to stop it. I don’t think there’s any rule preventing it. He does it just long enough to ensure a landslide victory over Trump. He makes it clear he will stick around just to help ol’ Joe right the ship and then resign. They can appoint Warren or someone. Think like a Republican for once you lame ass Dems. Dirty tricks.
It’s amazing to me that Trump tweeting that ridiculous video is something that instills confidence in him as a leader in the minds of HW, EOS and FF. It’s really way off the deep end.
I thought it was funny. Mark’s comment was funny too. We are living in crazy times. Maybe we need a leader who is a little crazy? I mean people on this blog say unintentionally hilarious stuff everyday.
Yeah, I do think Trump’s video is far more inspiring than Obama’s.
The people wanted Barack Obama to speak. And he inspired them. Donald Trump got jealous so pretended that he was a hero in an action movie. Sad.
His photoshopped puckered up mango noggin falling into the guillotine basket in Pappilon would probably prove to be more historically accurate.
That video isn’t a parody, it’s a preview: Civil War II – Electoral Boogaloo
Donald Trump is boring.
