MAGA Jonestown

Last week, as the number of COVID-19 deaths started to climb across the United States, Donald Trump, always the salesman, felt the need to share a little good news. And, as he’d already been fact-checked to death over his false claim that a vaccine was “very close,” he decided to instead tell a story about Chloroquine, a derivative of quinine used to treat malaria, and its analog Hydroxychloroquine. These drugs, he told the American people, were “very powerful” potential “game changers” in the fight against COVID-19. Of course, after this said this, the FDA had to issue a statement saying that the drugs in question hadn’t been approved for the treatment of COVID-19. And Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, had to inform the press that, while there does exist some “anecdotal” evidence of efficacy against COVID-19, there hasn’t been “a controlled clinical trial,” and therefore it’s impossible to make any “definitive statement” about how well the drugs may actually work. None of that, of course, stopped Donald Trump from touting the wonder cure. “The nice part is,” he said last week, “it’s been around for a long time, so we know that if things don’t go as planned, it’s not going to kill anybody.” But, of course, that’s exactly what happened.

Here’s one of Donald Trump’s irresponsible tweets about the drug, which he indicated was a cure for COVID-19.

And here’s the news today from Arizona, where a man in his 60s, in hopes of protecting himself against COVID-19, ingested a lethal dose of a parasite treatment for fish containing Chloroquine. According to the man’s widow, she and her husband took the medication because, in her words, “Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure”. She added, “We saw Trump on TV — every channel — and all of his buddies (were saying) that this was safe.”

Perhaps Donald Trump is incapable of learning that his actions have consequences. Or, more likely, he just doesn’t care. I don’t suppose it really matters why he does it. The important thing is that we remove him from office before even more people are forced to pay the price for his irresponsible rhetoric. It seems like a really obvious thing — something that shouldn’t have to be articulated here — but we need a leader that truly comprehends that, when he or she says something as the President of the United States, it carries a certain amount of weight. When an American president singles individuals out as “enemies of the people,” it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that violence follows. And it shouldn’t be a shock to anyone to learn that, when a president refers to a deadly disease as a “Chinese virus” in order to obfuscate his own culpability, Americans of Chinese descent find themselves subjected to racist attacks. And, when the president announces from the White House that wonder drugs exist for the treatment of a deadly disease, of course people are going to find said drugs and take them. He has had ample opportunity to learn from is mistakes, and rise to the challenge of leading this nation, but yet he persists. And the absolutely unnecessary damage continues. One would hope that, eventually, everyone would come to the realization that Donald Trump needs to be held to account.

update: The CDC had to issue a warning in response to the President’s irresponsible comments about Chloroquine being a cure for COVID-19.

As much as we’d like to argue with you, Mark, we Trump supporters are not permitted to discuss these details. Our dear leader, our “chosen one,” is not to be spoken about in any manner other than praise and support.

On another note, the lieutenant Governor of Texas says the victims of COVID-19 are willing to give their lives in order to save the economy. I hope our dear leader picks up on that line for his inspiring and informative daily briefs.

From a communications perspective, any POTUS has nearly unparalleled power. With just a few remarks, they can move financial markets, spark (or soothe) foreign conflicts, shape public opinion, and spread knowledge – or misinformation.

What is adrenochrome such as what is in the link I posted used for? I have heard of it sold as a supplement but I am ignorant about medical or research uses for it. Since you know enough about it to ridicule people who talk about it you should be able to answer.

It’s an oxygenated form of epinephrine (think Epi pen) which is a commonly used drug to stall allergic reactions, HW.
Adrenochrome is not approved for medical use by the FDA. I have no idea why it’s being made as a supplement. People are weird.
But I do know it’s not being made with the blood of frightened children because that’s not necessary.
I also know that if you want to infect the US population with Covid-19 you just have to stick someone on the plane who is infected, which is a lot easier than adding it to a drug no one uses.

Do you ever actually look at the things you say? Or do you just repeat bullshit endlessly.

Were the stories about Countess Bathory true or false, Jean? High up individual in Hungarian society of the time? Related to Vlad Drakul? It’s so long ago it’s a liability to even bring it up. However I think the parallel between Bathory and modern day claims about world leaders is worth noting. It is said she would torture her victims to get the most rejuvenating blood.

Marina Abramovic: not a fan, personally. I have followed her work because one who follows art must. I find her work narcissistic and overly self-conscious. I know many witches and satanists. They don’t have the money for fancy drugs. Their relationship to the occult is way more complicated and nuanced than you probably imagine. They exist mostly as a counter to Christian traditions and the bigotry and prudery contained therein. I also knew a PA Dutch healer/witch growing up and have studied those traditions a bit. She was a Christian. Just a charismatic one.

And yes, Abramovic has aged. She has all the means of faking it and looking good in pictures available at her disposal that rich women in this culture have. A blood facial may be part of that but not drinking children’s blood.

Here’s a classic example where your sources are all mixed up about basic facts of the event and then you use that untrue basis to try to disprove my point.

You’ve got this all wrong HW.

The simple and obvious answer is usually the right one. She gets a lot of money from patrons who stand to make a lot of money on the material art they buy from her and also get to hang out with other powerful and influential people. They had $10,000 soup. They will all profit from it.

That’s how it works in Those rarified circles— which is both weird enough and reason enough ($$$)for the invite.

They said the same thing about D&D. It had occult themes and their child was obsessed with it so it was responsible for their suicide. I don’t know if that was just how they saw it or if they needed a scapegoat. Gary Gygax defended his game and millions of players with reason on tv.

With heavy metal there is plenty of fodder for paranoia. It’s easy to see why fundamentalists would worry about upside down crosses and debauchery. Some of those people should have been made to read Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath’s lyrics for example though. They are…Christian!

The Spirit Cooking installation is rather like a black magic spell is it not? The ritualistic instructions involving cutting oneself and drinking a mixture of bodily fluids written in pig’s blood on the wall with a baby statue covered in blood in the corner… I mean is it much of a stretch to call it “witchy”? Come on. I’ll take my odds on her being involved in some ill shit though. Yep.

Right Wing Watch; “Liz Crokin Claims Celebrities Are Getting Coronavirus From Tainted ‘Adrenochrome Supply'”

Right-wing “journalist” and Trump–worshiping conspiracy theorist Liz Crokin posted a video on YouTube last week in which she declared that the current COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak is really just a cover for the Trump administration to carry out the mass arrests long promised by QAnon, the right-wing conspiracy theory that posits that President Donald Trump has been working diligently to arrest countless prominent political, media, and business leaders for allegedly being part of a global satanic pedophile ring.

Crokin doubled down on this predication in a new video that she posted last night in which she and also speculated that celebrities like Tom Hanks and Idris Elba have contracted the virus by drinking adrenochrome that had been intentionally laced with the virus by “the white hats”—a computer security term used to refer to hackers who use their skills for good.

“I also believe that this virus was created by the cabal, specifically Bill Gates,” Crokin said. “I also believe that the good guys, the white hats, knew that they were going to release this virus, and they intercepted their plans to use this virus as a false flag. They are now using their plans with the virus against them by using the virus as an excuse to lock down the country and many other countries, so the military can go in and safely conduct these raids and military operations to sweep up these criminals.”

“There’s a lot of anons (i.e., believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory) that believe the white hats tainted the elite’s adrenochrome supply with the coronavirus, and that’s why so many members of the elite are getting the coronavirus,” she added. “Adrenochrome is a drug that the elites love. It comes from children. The drug is extracted from the pituitary gland of tortured children. It’s sold on the black market. It’s the drug of the elites. It is their favorite drug. It is beyond evil. It is demonic. It is so sick. So there is a theory that the white hats tainted the adrenochrome supply with the coronavirus.”

    https://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/2020/03/26/opinion-michigans-doctors-fight-coronavirus-and-governors-office/2922272001/

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs literally threatened all doctors and pharmacists in the state who prescribe or dispense hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.

The agency’s March 24 letter warns physicians and pharmacists of professional consequences for the prescribing of hydroxychloroquine (and chloroquine). Beyond the rational recommendation against hoarding as production of this medication needs to be ramped up, the letter deviates into open threats of “administrative action” against the licenses of doctors that prescribe hydroxychloroquine.

What if they can get a prescription filled no problem? Doctors are effectively disallowed from using it in Michigan. This says some pharmacies are restricting it to a one month supply but it is not universal. If it does in fact rid people of coronavirus as the preliminary trial suggests then wouldn’t it be evil to punish doctors for prescribing it?

    A Table is a table-

And it came to the point that the man had to laugh when he heard people talking.

He had to laugh when he heard the way someone said:

‘Are you going to the soccer game tomorrow, too?’ Or when someone said: ‘It’s been raining for two months now.’ Or when someone said: ‘I have an uncle in America.’

He had to laugh, because he did not understand all that.

But this is not a funny story.

It began sadly and it ends sadly.

The old man in the grey coat could no longer understand people, that wasn’t so bad.

Much worse was that they could no longer understand him.

And therefore he said nothing more.

    He was silent,

    spoke only to himself,

    did not even greet them.

The police in Arizona are certainly looking at Wanda’s poisoning of her husband. Considering her political donations, it is a bit odd that her story is that she poisoned her husband and herself supposedly because of something Trump said. It is perfectly plausible that she had contemplated poisoning of her husband and decided that Trump’s comments would provide her the cover story. Who could have guessed?

    From the Washington Post:

Hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug President Trump encouraged as a treatment for covid-19 patients, is not only ineffective but significantly increases the risk of death for some, new evidence suggests.

“Alarmed by a growing cache of data linking the anti-malaria drug to serious cardiac problems, some drug safety experts are now calling for even more forceful action by the government to discourage its use,” The Post reported. Read about how some of those experts are calling for the Food and Drug Administration to revoke the emergency authorization it granted for use of the drug during Trump’s sales pitches.

But hydroxychloroquine has already become a cure-all in the minds of some Americans who hoarded it. This week an anti-quarantine protester in Long Island pursued a local news reporter trying to keep his distance. “I’ve got hydroxychloroquine, I’m fine!” the man said.

Trump has stopped talking about hydroxychloroquine and moved on to promoting a White House effort to invent, test and manufacture coronavirus vaccines for hundreds of millions of people by January. The president unveiled his “Operation Warp Speed” program on Friday, but scientists are skeptical it can deliver so quickly, when vaccines typically take years to make. “The leading candidates in the U.S. effort so far are an experiment in every sense of the word, drawing on exciting new technologies that have never before been used in an approved vaccine,” The Post reported.

Hydroxychloroquine is a FDA approved pharmaceutical. It has been used safely for over 50 years. How is it that it suddenly causes heart problems? And if so, why hasn’t the FDA removed it from the market? How is it that something that damages the heart is being legally prescribed for millions of Americans?

Once any pharmaceutical is approved, doctors can use it for any reason they want. It is called off label use. They don’t need special permission from the FDA or any president or governor.
