For those of you who, like me, could use a little cheering up right now, here’s footage shot outside the Fort Lauderdale home of trusted Trump advisor Roger Stone this morning, where FBI agents took the former protege of Republican rat-fucker Roy Cohn into custody. According to the indictments against Stone, which were opened this morning, the longtime Trump advisor was arrested on one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of false statements, and one count of witness tampering, all tied to his role as the Trump campaign emissary to Wikileaks during the DNC hack.

He just negotiated in the past by being volatile, creating fear and ignoring consequences or others. It’s not going to work long term in a democracy. Trump has pushed up against the limits of executive power to try to execute his agenda outsider of the democratic process. We’re lucky as hell done checks have worked. He will either be humbled or will keep pushing the limits of political tolerance and propel us deeper and depose into constitutional crisis.
The endless lectures on civility, morality etc here from Trump supporters fall flat. It’s irreconcilable to both hold your head high and support this man.
