It’s not often that I quote Fox News anchor Chris Wallace on this site, but he was exactly right when he described Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony today as “extremely emotional, extremely raw, and extremely credible.” Having listened to all of her testimony, I have no reason not to believe her when she says that she is “100%” sure that it was Brett Kavanaugh who had tried to rape her when she was 15 years old. Her story, which was absolutely heartbreaking, rang incredibly true. As Fox News anchor Bret Baier said, reading Blasey Ford’s allegations is one thing, but hearing her recount her experiences, “is a totally different thing.” Here, for those of you who might have missed it, is her powerfully emotional opening statement, in which she recounts the events of that night 36 years ago.
The Republicans, instead of asking Blasey Ford about the attack, spent the majority of their time either looking for “gotcha” opportunities, or making the case that all of this was nothing more than an orchestrated political attack against Kavanaugh masterminded by the diabolical Diane Feinstein. The woman the Republicans brought in to question Blasey Ford spent her time, among other things, trying to prove that the professor had lied when she told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that she was afraid of flying, and suggesting that, if she couldn’t remember how she got to the party that night 36 years ago, then she probably also couldn’t remember who attacked her. Blasey Ford, however, remained calm throughout, answering the questions of the Republicans to the best of her ability, and, when the opportunity arose, putting her PhD in psychology to use, explaining to the Senators how the human brain processes traumatic events. And, perhaps most importantly, she made it very clear that she had nothing to gain by doing this, and only came forward reluctantly, as she felt it was her civic duty.
I get that the Republicans don’t have a lot to work with, but them going after Blasey Ford for possibly exaggerating her fear of flying in order to delay the hearing, when Kavanaugh has lied so many times under oath, is absolutely laughable and pathetic.
And Kavanaugh lied. A lot. And it was obvious… Insultingly obvious… Kavanaugh, for instance, said that, when he and his fellow football players had self-identified as “Renate alumni” in their yearbook, they weren’t insinuating that they’d all had sexual relations with Renate Dolphin, a student at a local girls school. No, he said in his prepared remarks, they’d all written that out of respect for a young woman that they very much admired. And somehow he was able to say it with a straight face. [Renate Dolphin, who had originally signed a letter of support for Kavanaugh, recanted once she became aware of how he and his friends had referenced her in their yearbook, saying, “the insinuation is horrible, hurtful and simply untrue, (and) I pray their daughters are never treated this way.”] But that was just the start. The lies kept coming.
Trump’s nominee for the highest court in the land also said that his yearbook reference to a “Devil’s Triangle” had to do with a drinking game, when it’s commonly known to be a sex act involving two men and woman. [Interestingly, someone with a congressional IP address just edited the Wikipedia entry for “Devil’s Triangle” to match the Judge’s definition.] And then there was all the stuff about “ralphing,” where Kavanaugh told the members of the Judiciary Committee, again with a straight face, that his references to vomiting in high school had more to do with his delicate stomach, and inability to digest spicy foods, than his drinking. [No one asked him about the reference to “100 kegs” on his calendar. I’m sure he would have explained that “kegs” were a kind of exercise.] And, when when asked what he and his friends meant by the word “boof,” which they used often in their yearbook, Kavanaugh said it was slang they used for farting, which doesn’t really make sense in the context that the word was used. [Kavanaugh’s friend Mark Judge writes to him in the yearbook, “Bart, have you boofed yet?“] Oh, and how about the part where he said that he couldn’t possibly have drank during that summer of 1982, except on weekends, as he had a job mowing lawns that required his focus and attention? Or what about the time he was asked if he’d watched Blasey Ford’s testimony, responded that he hadn’t, and then news came out that he had? Or what about his claim that he never, in his entire life, had drank to the point of blacking out, when several of his classmates had come forward to call him a “sloppy drunk,” and he himself had laughed publicly about drinking to the point of blacking out? I could go on, but I need to stop for my own mental health. Suffice it to say that many lies… obvious lies… were told, both small and large.
Here he is, talking about his entry in the Georgetown Prep high school yearbook. Watch it and tell me that he has the temperament to be a Supreme Court justice.
Speaking of the lies, my favorite moment of the hearing was when Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal asked Kavanaugh to translate the Latin phrase “Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus,” which appears in jury instructions. Kavanaugh deferred to Blumenthal, who then translates it as, “False in one thing, false in everything.” And that’s what this comes down to for me.
Kavanaugh has no credibility. And, given the choice between the two, I’d say that Blasey Ford has proven herself to be infinitely more believable. She had nothing to gain by coming forward, and she did so anyway. That, I think, speaks volumes. As does the fact that Kavanaugh continues to push back when asked if he’d support a full FBI investigation and the questioning under oath of his old friend Mark Judge, who Blasey Ford says was in the room, laughing alongside Kavanaugh, during her assault… Here’s one of the many exchanges where Kavanaugh is asked by Democrats to state on the record that he supports an investigation, only to respond that it’s not his place to weigh in one way or the other.
WOW. Another unbelievable meltdown by #Kavanaugh, when he interrupts @SenatorLeahy and SHOUTS over him multiple times. (Watch the whole clip, start around 1:15.)😱pic.twitter.com/1Ln3rCTrzs

Oh, and it’s probably worth noting that Kavanaugh came right out of the gate loud and angry. If I had to guess, I’d say that Donald Trump coached him on his performance, as it seemed like he was playing to the base in a way that Trump would approve of, but maybe it’s authentic. Maybe this is the way entitled little prep school boys act when they don’t get what they want. But it was fucking crazy. He even went so far as to attribute all of this to the Clintons. “This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit, fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record,” Kavanaugh said. “Revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups.”
As Senator Kamala Harris reminded him, though, it wasn’t too long ago that Trump’s last Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, sailed through his confirmation. So, from the looks of it, it’s not so much that Democrats are obstructionists, as the Republicans, in this instance, nominated a deeply flawed political operative with a dark past and a penchant for lying.
I could go on for hours about this (I haven’t even gotten to Lindsey’s Graham’s hissy fit), but I need to watch some old episodes of Sgt. Bilko or something before I slide into a pit of despair that I’m not capable of climbing back out of.
Oh, one last thing… How’d you like Kavanaugh’s pissy, passive-aggressive response to this line of questioning about his binge-drinking? [He reminds me of Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul, with a little Nathan Thurm mixed in.]
Sen. Amy Klobuchar asks Brett Kavanaugh if he has ever blacked out from drinking, and he turns the question back on her.
Kavanaugh: "You are asking about a blackout. I don't know. Have you?"
Klobuchar: "Could you answer the question, judge?"https://t.co/9FalHY71EC pic.twitter.com/ptnGHHYuss

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, he didn’t attack Blasey Ford… I think it’s pretty clear he still lacks the character and temperament to be a Justice on the Supreme Court. How about you?

That was certainly a disturbing thing to watch.
Lindsey Graham to Hannity: “Everything I believed I knew about Brett Kavanaugh, I am now more convinced than ever that he didn’t do it.”
They are circling the wagons.
From the National Review: “He fought with passion, evidence, and compassion. And absent any new, substantiated revelations, he united the conservative movement. Any Repub who abandons him now will abandon the electorate that put them in power.”
Lindsey Graham: “this is the most unethical sham since I’ve been in politics.”
Every single person she claimed was there has denied it – including her best friend. His story was corroborated by a number of individuals – she did not have a single piece of corroborating evidence.
What do you like to drink, EOS?
Do you drink ‘til you black out?
The Catholics have been burned so many times by these kind of allegations, which ultimately have proven true

I met some affluent catholic school jocks in the mid-80s at MSU. They supplied the football and wrestling team with coke, and we’re the scariest psychopaths you will ever meet outside of prison.
Bart would have fit right in.

But at least one of Starr’s young staff attorneys made good. Brett Kavanaugh is likely to become the next justice of the U.S. Supreme Court–unless, that is, someone discovers that he committed sexual assault or witnessed gang rapes while in high school (7/7)

His adamant, angry denial was enough for Republicans. That’s all they needed.
Also, I have a strong feeling that Graham’s outburst was preceded by a text from Donald Trump instructing him to go on the offensive.
Kavanaugh’s message – “the Left”; “Borking”; “revenge on behalf of the Clintons”; “goes around comes around” – is that of a man who has already lost his Court seat, preparing for his next career
I believe Christine Ford.
More than anything else, Kavanaugh’s behavior yesterday convinced me she has been telling the truth.
Even if it could be proven that Ford is lying about the assault. Kavanaugh has disqualified himself from being a SC judge: 1)He doesn’t seem overly bright; 2) Doesn’t come across as emotionally stable; 3) He sure seems to be a “drinker”. Any 3 of these things taken alone disqualified him in my mind.
Next.
The American Bar Association, Alan Dershowitz, and the Jesuits have all called for the vote to be belayed and an FBI investigation to take place.
delayed that is.
Also: after Kavanaugh’s partisan outbursts, he would have to recuse himself in any case involving a Democrat or a Republican.
Tasty quotes by Ford lawyer Debra Katz on Paula Jones
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/09/17/lawyer-for-kavanaugh-accuser-downplayed-sexual-misconduct-allegations-against-clinton-franken.html
Hahahaha! HW. Sorry the Hillary Card won’t swipe no more. It is all worn out. Imagine if she had behaved as Kavanaugh did yesterday under oath…
Hillary is about to go bye bye forever. A lot of people are. The executive order on military tribunals for traitors goes into effect 1/1/19. You will see things happen between now and then that will show you what I am saying is no kind of joke (undeniable evidence).
Anyways the article I posted was about KATZ’s comments on one of BILL Clinton’s accusers, not Hillary. Of course Hillary’s power was tied to Bill’s. Does anyone think she would have been anointed Madame President-to-be without being his wife?
American Bar Association calls for “nothing less than a careful” FBI investigation before proceeding on Kavanaugh.
I have to admit that I found Kavenaugh’s outburts to be even more disturbing than Ford’s testimony. I was soooo not expecting that. And Lindsey Graham’s too! It was like they both decided that the only option was to unleash their inner A-holes. Fuck them.
I just hope the women of this country realize that if they vote for any senator who votes to confirm this guy, they are placing a vote for rape culture and putting themselves and their daughters and every other woman in danger
The problem with you is you think nothing outside your beliefs is possible. You don’t even consider that Ford could be lying.
I think it is highly unlikely that she is lying, it is true. I have reasons for this but if it makes you feel better, I do know that sexual abuse allegations can be weaponized. I don’t think that is happening in this case though. Have you considered that Kavenaugh might be lying. Or that he might have done it but doesn’t remember either because it wasn’t a situation that he considered significant or because he had been drinking too much?
“The problem with you is you think nothing outside your beliefs is possible.”
And the problem with you is that you think everything outside reality is possible.
Of course I have. Everything is possible. If he did what she described he should be canned. What do you think are good reasons to believe she is telling the truth?
Great point, Mr. Skinner. He would have to recuse himself, at the very least, from every case involving a party that had weighed on his confirmation.
Eel, that is so wrong. I’ve spoken against flat out hoaxes Mark Maynard has been suckered into so how do you think you can say that?
“He would have to recuse himself, at the very least, from every case involving a party that had weighed on his confirmation.”
Yeah, that’s going to happen.
Remember Lindsey Graham before the change? One wonders what happened to turn him into this.
Lindsey Graham: “Everything I know about Judge Kavanaugh screams that this didn’t happen.” http://hill.cm/RJnDHbh
HW Re: “What do you think are good reasons to believe she is telling the truth?”
1. She took and passed a lie detector test
2. She told her therapist about this years ago. This isn’t just something she made up to thwart Kavenaugh’s nomination
3. False reports of sexual assault are very rare.
4. proven actions from his youth including his HS year book show a general disrespect for women which makes it even more plausible that he might have tried this. Especially the comments which caused one of those women who signed the letter supporting him to withdraw her support.
5. All the other allegations of wrong doing. The dick waving at parties. The drinking. The things documented to have gone on at the DKE frat at Yale.
6. The affect displayed by each of them yesterday in the Senate hearings.
7. That Ford has been run through the mud and attacked verbally and also threatened physically AS EXPECTED is a pretty big deterrent for making a false claim. She gets no benefit from doing so but gets a whole lot of grief for it. Which is why, btw, that so many rapes go unreported. Many more rapes go unreported than false accusations of rape occur.
All together, I would say that Ford is the more credible person here.
Starting with the polygraph:
https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/nation-world/heres-the-polygraph-test-christine-blasey-ford-took-on-her-allegations-against-kavanaugh/507-598426347
“The August 7 examination, held in a Maryland Hilton Hotel, consisted of a one-page, handwritten statement by Ford, an interview and two questions: Is any part of your statement false? And, Did you make up any part of your statement?”
Yeah, that sounds legit. Two questions? No control questions? Come on. Who was the administrator? Can you trust them? Why?
#2: The accusation could easily have been cooked up to have ready to attack a potential Romney pick.

#3: A low percentage of false claims would tend to make a false claim more effective. Do you agree?
#4: Proven actions such as what? What does his yearbook prove exactly? Teenage boys are crude? Whoah!
That sleazy fucker should get a volume discount on his perjury trial. After the midterms there’s going to be a long line of impeachments, this lying scumbag among them. Unless HW is right about suspension of due process and mass arrests of Agent Orange political enemies. In which case the Gang Raper will instrumental in the justification and, one would imagine, would become a target for extra-legal removal.
#5:
https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/senate-democrats-investigate-a-new-allegation-of-sexual-misconduct-from-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaughs-college-years-deborah-ramirez
“This is a woman I was best friends with. We shared intimate details of our lives,” added another woman, whose wedding both Ramirez and Kavanaugh attended. “And I was never told this story by her, or by anyone else. It never came up. I didn’t see it; I never heard of it happening.”
Political enemies can be criminals. You don’t get a pass for being anti-Trump.
#6: That’s your perception. It doesn’t mean you are correct.
#7: It’s your people who ran her through the mud. She wanted to remain anonymous. Kavanaugh and family have been threatened too. There is no way to know if she got any payments or gifts so I don’t know how you came to the conclusion there is definitely no benefit she is getting.
It is due process for traitors who aid terrorists to be tried by military tribunals. I hope none of your people aided terrorists…
https://twitter.com/adamcbest/status/1045422616629202945
1. So give her another as part of an FBI investigation. I think especially consider Kavenaugh’s own legal opinions of lie detector tests, this one counts and counts big.
2. LOL. That is so absurd I am not even sure what to say other than I am not entirely surprised to hear something that nutty coming from you. That is a HUGE reach to suggest that Ford was so calculating that she planted seeds with her therapist (not knowing what kinds of notes the therapist was taking) YEARS before she came forward
3. Perhaps but there is no reason to think that this claim is false other than a woman is making it and a certain sort of man just automatically assumes that women are lying.
4. All of those things prove that Kavenaugh had a pretty well developed disrespect for women and a pretty major issue with alcohol abuse, which means he is the kind of guy who might try to rape a woman at a party after having a few drinks. Even without the sexual assualt claims, it shows that he doesnt really see half of the population as deserving of the same rights as the other half and that alone should disqualify him. He has done nothing since to show he has changed. He hasn’t even acknowledged that those things are problematic.
#5 So? There are things I haven’t shared with my best friend. Sure it would have made her more credible if she had but it doesn’t really mean that because she didn’t tell her best friend, that it didn’t happen.
#6 Yes indeed. My perception. But fwiw, YOUR perception doesn’t mean that I am not correct.
#7 Nice try but no. It has been Republicans and men seemingly afraid of a society where men are held accountable for things like groping and attempted rape who have been dragging her through the mud. Also threatening her. Etc and so on.
It’s not absurd at all. Think. You can’t imagine in your wildest fantasies there are organized factions in government that plan dirty tricks like that. Like “OMG!!! How could something like that even HAPPEN???”
“Perhaps but there is no reason to think that this claim is false other than a woman is making it and a certain sort of man just automatically assumes that women are lying.”
Just saying there is no reason doesn’t mean there is no reason. See how that works? There needs to be a reason to believe it is true. The total lack of corroboration by people she named does not help with that.
You missed the point about 2012 anyway. Reading comprehension? They would have been getting it ready in case they needed it for a Romney presidency. Having it in the back pocket for now would be because of getting it ready back then.
“which means he is the kind of guy who might try to rape a woman at a party after having a few drinks.”
That’s koo-koo. Are you serious? Hahahaha! You are crazy as shit.
I have to admit that being called ‘crazy’ by someone whose thought process is like HW’s feels like a confirmation of sanity.
You can’t even read a simple paragraph and understand my meaning. What makes you think you are capable of understanding my process?
While we are all engaged in the reality show that Trump has unleashed on us, his Administration has quietly admitted that global warming will cause at least a 7 degree increase in temp. by 2100. That is catastrophic and explains the whole sale looting that is currently being engaged in by the plutocrats.
If we don’t demand a lot more of our politicians there will be no future worth having for my grand children. Thankyou liberals and conservatives alike who deny the emergency.
https://thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/408928-trump-administration-predicted-seven-degree-increase-in-global
The Democrats could have shut down the committee vote by refusing to attend the hearing today and denying a quorum, which by committee rules requires at least 7 members, including 2 of the opposing party. Instead, speeches. It’s hard not to agree with the odious Lindsay Graham that the Dems exploited Dr. Ford for their own political purposes, which didn’t include actually stopping Kavanaugh.
You guys are fzoked like Strzok. Out of the long list of non-scandals and supposedly major Trump fuckups absolutely NOTHING has panned out. The more time goes by the more you lose and the more patriots win. Remember when you were calling for bets on whether Trump will make it through his first year?

Lincoln’s attorney general reasoned that this was permissible since they had associated with an enemy of the Untied States and had violated the laws of war, the universally accepted rules and customs for engaging in conflict.

wobblie, had you not thrown us women under the bus in 2016, we would be more free to focus on climate change. I mean are you seriously being critical of women paying attention to this mess right now?
Yes, PRO FRACKING DEMOCRATS like St. Hillary. They are selling us all down the river. You and your childish tribalism Lynn are as much as the problem as the out right plundering that the political class in league with the plutocrats are engaging in. You know all about fat shamming, mansplanning and all the rest. Yet you ignore the reality that the Democrats are shameful in there manipulation. HW is totally divorced from reality. JH and you are basicly part of the reality based community, but you allow your tribalism to confound your common since. JH readily admits that she is the product of class privilege, and that clearly obstructs her ability to see global warming for what it is.
Unless the liberal classes recognize that they are culpable in our disaster reality (Obama was the fracking King–liberal Democrat.)
I am proud that I voted 3rd. party. I’ll do it again unless the Democrats give me a reason to vote for them.
7 degree increase in global temperature makes all human rights irrelevant. Survival will be all that matters.
Yeah, wobblie – not voting for a female candidate even if you think she is horrible equals throwing women under the bus.
“divorced from reality”
Where (who) did that phrase come from?
Dear Liberals, The FBI investigation will be overseen by director Christopher Wray, who was two years behind Brett-boy at both Yale and Yale Law. After graduation, they entered the same rightwing political orbit and both took jobs in the Bush Administration. How do you think it’s going to turn out?
Oh wow. Blasey, C and Blasey CM all over the RU-486 company’s research page. Not her? Maybe her but nothing to worry about? Just…good? Good for her, right? For helping women!
http://www.corcept.com/publications.html
Yeah, huh! What are the chances?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Blasey_Ford
“Ford worked as the director of biostatistics at Corcept Therapeutics, and collaborated with FDA statisticians.”
I am not at all surprised that you are proud of hurting women, wobblie.
Obama btw helped reduce carbon emissions per capita (although admittedly that trend was in place before him) and certainly was open to things like the Paris Climate Treaty. You didn’t just throw women under the bus, you helped usher in Trump who is a climate change disaster. Your third party vote also is a big reason why we are screwed in that area too. So basically in addition to being proud that women’s rights are an issue, you are also proud that you have done your part to set us back in terms of climate change. Personally I don’t think that is anything to be proud of.
Are you for 86? Christine Blasey is and she has that infinite credibility so you know…
It’s like “Well, you come from such tremendous poverty…maybe the smartest thing you could do is just ’86 it’.”
Did I just blow all your little circuits with a little dose of reality? Doesn’t take much!
“JH readily admits that she is the product of class privilege, and that clearly obstructs her ability to see global warming for what it is.” Wobblie— there are many intense blinders of privilege that are hard to overcome, but I fail to see how they apply to global warming. Please remember that I come from south central Pennsylvania from a town economically closer to Jackson than any place around here. A town negatively impacted by both fracking and nuclear power. Of and I worked in the climate action field locally for 7 years. You crack me up. You deny the significance of social justice beyond class but think I can’t understand the risk to fate of humanity? Dude… the one think people in boarding school cling to is existential dread. They get the threat to humanity part. They actually feel the burden of addressing such things— though not always in the best ways. Three of my classmates were directly involved in the negotiations during or after the Paris accord? How about you? What have you done to spur climate action? Tell scary stories and insist no one but you really gets it?
A lil dab’ll do ya! Hahahaha
FWIW, the Kavanaugh thing has really fucked me up. I’m hyper vigilant, feeling over protective to young women etc etc. And I’m not alone among women my age. Damn that guy is one of them. The year book references, the resume listing, the angry over talking, his fondness for beer. the jock bullshit— Everything he elevated as proof of his respectability and innocence looked to us like proof of his fixation on power and dominance and so his likely culpability There aren’t too many of those shit gibbons left. I can’t wait till men like that are the dinosaurs they deserve to be.
How come all the women he has worked with thinks he is the greatest? He has gotten glowing reviews. I haven’t heard of any bad ones.
How come they thinks that? Hehe, *think*
She doesn’t work at the CIA internship program at Stanford like they say, does she? Definitely works at Stanford: https://profiles.stanford.edu/christine-blasey?releaseVersion=7.5.1

https://haas.stanford.edu/students/cardinal-careers/fellowships/cia-undergraduate-internship-program
HW. are you saying you think Dr. Ford is CIA?
She doesn’t strike me as the CIA type. She strikes me more as the Mr. Rogers, child therapist type. She is very obviously an extremely gentle and kind person.
Did you also think Fred Rogers was a ruthless CIA operative running a massive child-mind-control operation disguised as an innocent children’s program on PBS?
Honestly, Trump doesn’t seem set on Kavanaugh at all.
I’m asking does she and did/does her father (who has been all but silent; her whole birth family has) work for CIA-associated companies?
I don’t see how she strikes you as being relevant to the question. Are you an expert in identifying agents and assets or something?
Liberals have been throwing working class folks under the bus for thirty years. I’ve walked hundreds of miles on picket lines for equality for all. Been physically attacked several times, had guns pulled and pointed at me, gone to jail for sitting in. Saw one of my sister workers ran over by a yahoo in a pickup truck at Seabrook. Have had a bulldozer dump a load of dirt on me during a blockade to stop clear cutting –could have killed me . Worked to organize Red Wood Summer where my sister worker Judi Bari was critically wounded during an assassination attempt. Raised money to sue the FBI for obstructing the investigation into Judi’s attempted murder, we won (9-11 obscured our victory in that they happened the same day.) Have not even talked about the contract language which I helped get included at my work places ( 1988 we got language protecting HIV/AIDS victims from discrimination in our workplace–1st. contract in nation to include any such language. I struck and stuck with my co-workers over maintaining Affirmative Action standards for employment rather than liberal bullshit equal opportunity crap. ) Spent 10 years working with the Michigan Democratic Party, was a Gold member. Was getting ready to head to Florida to help in the Gore recount when the Democrats basically capitulated and they stopped counting votes. They still come to me for money (as if I got money out of my SS to give them). Was a Granholm political appointee. Last Representative of Employees in the State of Michigan ( first thing Synder did when elected was fire me (see first executive order issued by Synder) I still had years left in my term of office, the economic cost to me has been sever. ) I have worked in the trenches for 50 years for social equality.
Throughout that time I’ve witnessed the Liberal Corporate Democrat’s sell out working folks. We are living in a state of emergency. We need to recognize that. Demand that our politicians recognize that. Scap goating, and I told you so get no where. Demanding better from our political leaders might help. Developing community structures that help us face the coming collapse might help. A multi- Trillion dollar green energy program and the elimination of all CO2 emissions NOW will at least demonstrate to our survivors that we tried.
“We are living in a state of emergency.”
That is correct. We have been since 12/21/17.

Another lie.
“The drinking age, as I noted, was 18, so the seniors were legal,” Brett Kavanaugh testified under oath about his high school drinking habits. But that wasn’t true in Maryland his senior year.
Presumably he was talking about that Summer and all the years prior. The Seniors were legal is what he said. Not that it was legal his Senior year.
Isn’t this all part of Trump’s master plan. I hope you’re not suggesting he’s being outmanouvered by the CIA and an abortion drug manufacturer.
My sense of Trump is that he doesn’t have anything invested in Kavanaugh’s confirmation. He doesn’t seem concerned at all about it.
Yet another Kavanaugh lie from Newsweek.
Trump ridiculing Blasey Ford, and calling those investigating Kavanaugh “evil people.”
Kavanaugh admits he was at times “too emotional” at hearing, vows to be neutral “going forward”
You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth!
Sounds like Kavanaugh is going to inspire a red wave. Especially amongst a certain type of women. Oh well. The dating pool for HW FF, and EOS must be pretty big.
“outmanouvered”
Hahahaha – nope!
EOS doesn’t date, HW isn’t dating material, so it’s an open field for FF, really.
