On this evening’s episode of the Saturday Six Pack, I’ll be talking with Ypsi High art teacher Lynne Settles, one of her students, and local historian Matt Siegfried about the silent march across Yspilanti that they coordinated this past Martin Luther King Day, and the multi-venue art exhibit that awaited all of those who attended the march at its end. Thanks for posting, Mark. The Ypsi MLK Day march and exhibition was inspiring with so many teens getting engaged, mobilized and leading the way. The latter part of this video has some excellent Ypsi history shared by Matt Siegfried. And the Frederick Douglass speech video/audio installation’s running the rest of this week. It’s best seen/heard in the evening from outside of YES (8 N. Washington across from Bona Sera).
