I’ve been watching cell phone video shot at a Brooklyn bar last night of J Mascis performing with Nirvana shortly after the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and remembering just how much his music meant to me… Here’s You’re Living All Over Me, for those of you who want to join me in a little nostalgia.

I strongly dislike nostalgia.
The Dinosaur Jr. song Freak Scene has the ability to transport me to another place like no other. It’s like time travel.
When he did an in store at Repeat The Beat in Royal Oak he was probably the biggest asshole any of us had ever witnessed. He treated his fans with total contempt. At one point he said something about “really wanting a cupcake.” Some sweet young girl went down the block to some gourmet shop and probably dropped five bucks to get J. a cupcake. She presented it to him and he immediately tossed it over his shoulder to the wall. What a dick.
CLASSIC ALBUM. No a bad track on there. I played Poledo [Toledo] on my Xmas morning show this year on WCBN.
