Drop out of college and learn everything you need to know at our two-hour zine workshop

I have no idea where this will be taking place, as Linette’s been doing all the planning, and she hasn’t told me yet, but it looks as though she and I will be hosting a zine workshop at the end of next month. Once it gets closer to the date of the event, and I’ve had a chance to give it a little more thought, I’m sure I’ll have more to say. For now, though, I just wanted to mention it so that, if you were so inclined, you could put it on your calendar… Oh, and it’s a benefit for Fly Children’s Art Center, which is totally cool… So you should come even if you hate my guts. You could even make a zine about it, and I’d be contractually obligated to help you with it!

All ages! $10 suggested donation to FLY includes materials and some copying.

Rise to the challenge and create and publish a tiny, but powerful, zine out of a single sheet of paper! (What’s a zine? It is an underground, hand-crafted magazine, grown from individual imagination, vision and passion!) Come with an idea, or let us help you find one. We’ll provide supplies, but feel free to bring your favorite pens, pencils, and images to collage with.
