A candidate for one of my Ypsi Exit Interviews perhaps?

I have a hard time believing this is real, as I can’t imagine that anyone would attempt to sell a house by calling the city that it’s located in “crappy,” but, as it’s a slow news day, I thought that I’d share this.

If you should happen to know the owner of the house in question, please drop me a line, as I’m always looking for interesting people to conduct my Ypsi Exit Interviews with… and it’s been a long time since we’ve had a really good bad one.

    $200,000 firm.

This person will never leave Ypsi.

Maybe it’s more of a cry for help more than a serious attempt at leaving. My guess is that this person is delusional, and believes this sign will stop her neighbors from having their dogs poop and pee on her lawn. In reality, though, this will probably just make the problem worse. I predict that people will make their animals hold their poop and pee for extended periods of time, guaranteeing gigantic loads of both. I foresee neighbors being competitive with it as well. I see this evolving into Ypsi’s version of competitive dog fighting, with people intensely training their dogs to unleash ungodly amounts of the most fetid feces upon crossing into this woman’s yard. In another week, I predict this house will be surrounded by a moat of urine and feces that makes it impossible to get to. The owner, I think, cut off from the wold, will starve to death by Thanksgiving.

The twist is, it’s not dogs that are shitting in the lawn at all. It’s the neighbors.

“This town sucks. Too many leaves.”

Of all the reasons someone would leave Ypsilanti, I never thought i’d heave “leaves”.
