I took these photos on Water Street a couple of days ago, where some folks had gathered to make art and discuss, among other things, the teach-in that’s scheduled to happen this Saturday at EMU. Here, for those of you not adverse to the idea of getting out of your homes, meeting strangers, and encountering new ideas, is the tentative agenda.

What’s the direct action? Should I come dressed for guerrilla flower planting, or window smashing?
The photos are beautiful. The sentiment even more so. Thank you all for continuing to push the boulder up the mountain.
What kind of free stuff will we be demanding?
Yes, John. Learning about reproductive rights and the benefits of eating local foods is synonymous with “demanding free stuff”.
One free thing that should be demanded though, on second thoughts, is a decent K-12 education, like these young men are doing in Detroit.
