Breitbart assassinated… “what else could it be?”

Within minutes of Senator Ted Kennedy’s death, conservative activist Andrew Breitbart took to Twitter, calling the distinguished public servant a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick”. Now, in the wake of the glorified blogger’s unexpected passing, however, we’re being asked to remember Breitbart, the man best known for destroying ACORN, a grass-roots organization that offered aid and housing assistance to the poor, with deceptively edited video, not as a fear-mongering, smear artist, but as a groundbreaking “journalist.” I’m all for speaking well of the dead, in most cases, but this guy doesn’t deserve that courtesy… Sure, I feel sorry for his kids, and all, but I’ve always felt sorry for his kids. They had a shitty human being for a father.

I’d noted to a friend, after hearing the news of Breitbart’s passing, that it was only a matter of time until people started suggesting that he’d been killed by Obama’s secret black army. Within a few minutes, this friend had respond with a few dozen examples from Twitter. Most of them, from what I can tell, think Breitbart’s “assassination” had to do with an announcement that he’d made at CPAC, concerning the existence of videos showing Barack Obama, as a college student, plotting the takeover of the country with mysterious “silver ponytailed” individuals. “I’ve got videos.. from his college days, to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what ‘hope’ and ‘change’ was sold in 2008,” said Breitbart… And, now he’s dead.

Clearly it’s a case of political assassination.

“What else could it be?” said a caller into Michael Savage’s radio show this evening. What else, indeed… It’s not as though out-of-shape, purple-faced, perpetually screaming, profusely sweating men in their 40′s, with histories of cardiac trouble just fall over dead. Surely, something more sinister is happening. After all, Breitbart did just claim a few weeks ago to have in his possession this video footage of a young Obama meeting with not just one silver-poneytailed individual, but multiple silver-ponytailed individuals. Clearly, Obama had no choice but to kill him.

As for the conversation taking place on Michael Savage’s show, I was so struck by the lunacy of the it, that I pulled my car over to the side of the road and decided to film a few minutes… Enjoy.

All I can say is that I hope that someone gets the courageous truth-teller of the right, Victoria Jackson, into hiding immediately. If my hunch is right, Obama’s Night of the Long Knives just beginning.

Michael Savage is crazy. Is he syndicated that awful local station WAAM? They put this 4 pages advertising section in the otherwise larger tea party rag out by my house called “The Northfield Courant” and Savage is prominently featured, along with our locally famous and paranoid “Thayrone X”…who actually has ownership of WAAM.

He looked like he was about a minute away from having a Fred Sanford-style coronary in that video where he was yelling at Occupy protesters during CPAC, calling them rapists, and demanding that they “behave themselves”. But, I suppose that could have been an actor, portraying Brietbart. This plot could have been put into action the very moment that Breitbart made the shocking statement that he had, in his possession, images of the President consorting with grey pontytails.

And I’d be remiss as a journalist if I didn’t mention the fact that Breitbart died almost EXACTLY one year, TO THE DAY, after Michigan high school basketball player Wes Leonard collapsed and died of an APPARENT heart attack, just seconds after he scored a game winning shot. I’m not suggesting that Obama had him killed, but Obama IS a basketball fan. I think the connection deserves to be looked into.

You might enjoy Matt Taibbi’s “Andrew Breitbart: Death of a Douche”. Here’s an excerpt.

So Andrew Breitbart is dead. Here’s what I have to say to that, and I’m sure Breitbart himself would have respected this reaction: Good! Fuck him. I couldn’t be happier that he’s dead.

I say this in the nicest possible way. I actually kind of liked Andrew Breitbart. Not in the sense that I would ever have wanted to hang out with him, or even be caught within a hundred yards of him without a Haz-Mat suit on, but I respected the shamelessness. Breitbart didn’t do anything by halves, and even his most ardent detractors had to admit that he had a highly developed, if not always funny, sense of humor.

For instance, it would be dishonest not to tip a hat to him for that famous scene when he hijacked Anthony Weiner’s own self-immolating “apology” press conference, and held up the entire event by standing at the lectern and congratulating himself at length, before Weiner could let the humiliating healing begin.

For that one, brief, shining moment– still one of the most painful-to-watch YouTube spectacles of all time, right there with Mitt Romney’s priceless attempt at singing “Who Let the Dogs Out?” with a group of black voters in Florida in 2008 – Breitbart could legitimately claim to have the biggest, hairiest balls on earth.

Watching Weiner apologize to Breitbart later in that same event was certainly chilling for a number of reasons (if I were Weiner, I wouldn’t have apologized to that fucker even under torture) but it was hard not appreciate the deliciousness of the scene from Breitbart’s point of view. Watching Weiner pause, swallow hard, and make the extraordinary decision to plant his lips squarely on the loathsome Breitbart’s ass on national television, that was like the ultimate Mona Lisa masterpiece of right-wing media provocations. That the outrageous Breitbart was standing right there, looking gorgeously gassy in his unbuttoned shirt, bloated Joey Buttafuoco cheeks and splendiforous silver half-mullet, made the humiliation of the trim and neatly-groomed Weiner even more abject.

One of the first things that came to mind to me, actually, was that maybe Breitbart had untreated diabetes. Woody Hayes apparently hid his diabetes most of his life and had severe rage issues, leading to both his firing after punching an opposing player in the 1978 Gator Bowl and, in 1987, apparently his death.

Huffington herself, may be an opportunist. I find her to be believable when explaining the circumstances behind her decision to leave the Republican party, but I can certainly see how others may doubt her sincerity, and see it as a purely financial decision. Regardless of where you stand on that, though, I don’t see how you can equate what she does with what Breitbart did. To my knowledge, she has not been found to have lied about the actions or intentions of Republicans. Yes, they make use of sensationalized headlines on the HuffPo site, they steal content from others, and they pay too much attention to trivial celebrity news, but I don’t think that they lie as a practice. Furthermore, I find some of their original reporting, by the likes of Sam Stein, to be quite good.

So, now we’ve all concluded that Obama is a Muslim, Kenyan-born murderer who’s been plotting to take over the US government since his college days, but wait, the plot must go back to his birth when practically the whole great State of Hawaii (along with dozens of private citizens) conspired to make him look like he was born in Hawaii.

As for the HuffPo, I admit there are a few articles here and there that I like, but their political articles distort the issues on a grand scale. Their partisanship should be obvious. To me, the HuffPo is an entertainment site, and not to be taken seriously.

Honestly, it disappoints me when friends of mine refer to the HuffPo as a serious news source. Even more disappointing is when I realize that it’s the only source of news for some of them.

He was an idiot. He was told two years ago by Savage to get body guards which he refused. I am sure now he learned his lesson.
I knew right away he was assassinated because it is very rare for somebody under age 50 to drop dead in the street from ‘natural causes’. I was reading that the CIA had a gun over 30 years ago that could fire a poison dart loaded with a poison that can cause a heart attack. The dart then is absorbed by the body and there is no evidence of such an attack. However, if he had bodyguards around him the assassins would think twice in shooting him.

I enjoy making fun of Savage as much as the next guy, and I find it laughable that anyone would think that Obama would have Breitbart killed now, because he threatened to share video of him talking with Ayers and Dohrn, but it is worth noting that political assassination does happen. And it’s sophisticated stuff. The following is from Wikipedia.

In the case of state-sponsored assassination, poisoning can be more easily denied. Georgi Markov, a Bulgarian dissident was assassinated by ricin poisoning. A tiny pellet containing the poison was injected into his leg through a specially designed umbrella. Widespread allegations involving the Bulgarian government and KGB have not led to any legal results. However, it was learned that after fall of the USSR, the KGB had developed an umbrella that could inject ricin pellets into a victim, and two former KGB agents who defected said the agency assisted in the murder. The CIA has allegedly made several attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro, many of the schemes involving poisoning his cigars. In the late 1950s, KGB assassin Bohdan Stashynsky killed Ukrainian nationalist leaders Lev Rebet and Stepan Bandera with a spray gun that fired a jet of poison gas from a crushed cyanide ampule, making their deaths look like heart attacks. A 2006 case in the UK concerned the assassination of Alexander Litvinenko who was given a lethal dose of radioactive polonium-210, possibly passed to him in aerosol form sprayed directly onto his food. Litvinenko, a former KGB agent, had been granted asylum in the UK in 2000 after citing persecution in Russia. Shortly before his death he issued a statement accusing then-President of Russia Vladimir Putin of involvement in his assassination. President Putin denies he had any part in Litvinenko’s death.

To answer your question Eel, no I have never heard of anyone having their “cardiac sinus” beamed.

Mike215, actually, cocaine users (and former users) drop dead in their 40s at a very high rate. Yes, the CIA and other high level intelligence organizations have all sorts of very advanced and sophisticated methods for taking out targets. However, these methods are not wasted where it isn’t necessary. Traditional methods are used. Methods for inducing heart attacks have been around for thousands of years and many are virtually untraceable. Many methods easily circumvent superficial security precautions the target may have, such as body guards. No professional assassination team would be significantly challenged by the existence of a couple body guards. Before any serious hit job, professionals always do maximum possible surveillance for the purpose of devising a scenario which best fits the target’s habits and history.

Most professional hits are contracted to regional syndicates, regardless of who posts the cash. Established regional criminal networks always maintain their own abduction and hit teams for their own purposes and can provide the service relatively inexpensively, with almost perfect reliability and untraceability. If Breitbart’s death was murder, it would have almost certainly been carried out by the LA syndicate on a contract.

I haven’t bothered to look at the details of and surrounding Breitbart’s death to have any strong sense of whether or not there was foul play involved. The timing is the only detail I am aware of that an investigator would find interesting. Either way, Breitbart was an idiot, as you said. He was either a cocaine using idiot, a reckless loudmouth, or both.

Here’s an update on Breitbart’s autopsy from The Fix.

The first report of the blogger’s demise was posted on his own website, BigGovernment.com, just hours later. Saluting him as a “happy warrior,” the site took pains to note that he had died of “natural causes.” While many journalists wondered privately what natural causes could claim a seemingly healthy 43-year-old man, thousands of mainstream outlets nonetheless parroted the phrase. But LA County Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey told The Fix that “natural causes” is merely “a non-forensic evaluation of a person’s death,” meaning that “[the body has] nothing externally visible that would lead them to believe that the death was caused by blunt-force trauma, a stab wound, or so on.” As such, Harvey says, it is standard operating procedure for the coroner to perform a full toxicology report to determine whether “drugs, alcohol, poisons or other foreign substances” played a role in Breitbart’s death.

That exam was concluded on Friday. “The final cause of death has been ‘Deferred’ pending the receipt of toxicological and microscopic studies,” Harvey told The Fix. “It is anticipated that these test results should be available in four to six weeks. Once the results have been received and evaluated, a final cause of death will be entered for Mr. Breitbart.”

It is generally accepted that Breitbart suffered a heart attack. His father-in-law, the comic actor and conservative activist Orson Bean, was reportedly at Breitbart’s home the night he died, and saw him collapse. He later told reporters that his son-in-law had a history of heart problems—a revelation that came as a surprise to many of his friends. Nonetheless, soon after his death was announced, blogosphere back channels—and numerous emails to The Fix—began buzzing with speculation that drugs or alcohol had played a role in his passing. But despite their private discussions of the topic, not a single mainstream media outlet or website dared to publicly raise the question of substances. Instead, the media began giving airtime to right-wing conspiracy theories………

But there has been some public speculation that Breitbart’s drug use didn’t end in college. A source close to the blogger told The Fix on condition of anonymity that he’d done cocaine with Breitbart as recently as last October. On the day after his death, Anthony Cumia, of the radio show “Opie and Anthony,” said of Breitbart, “I went out drinking with him, and boy, can he party.” “He liked to stay awake,” added Anthony. “That’s all I’ll say.” Other friends maintain that Breitbart regularly took high doses of Adderall and other stimulants to counteract his lifelong ADD. (Both cocaine and Adderall, an amphetamine, can increase the risk of a heart attack. The FDA even warns that Adderall can cause “sudden death in patients with heart problems or heart defects.”)
