She hasn’t let me read any of it yet. I’m imaging it’ll be like Twilight, but for an even younger audience… something about a little girl falling in love with a dark and brooding, painfully misunderstood, Cthulhu-like monster.
I suspect it’ll make us all fabulously wealthy.

Always like to hear what Big sis is up to. By the way, if she lost some sunglasses recently, I think I know where they might be. And completely off the subject, last week or so you mentioned feeling yourself slipping into some ‘darkness’. Hopefully it has lifted. I only bring this up as there was a fascinating NPR story last week on the street drug “Special K” tha t is an FDA approved anesthetic working wonders. You should check the story out: http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2012/01/31/146096540/i-wanted-to-live-new-depression-drugs-offer-hope-for-toughest-cases
She’s a blonde? When did that happen?
Cthulhu has a thing for blondes.
I think I know why she won’t let you read it.
I hate to give away the M. Night Shyamalan-like twist at the end of the book, but I suspect that you’re the creature.
Sorry, dad. I happens to all of us eventually. Those little kids that like to curl up in our arms, turn into people that would rather play video games than do so much as say hello to us.
The book, assuming it gets made, needs to end with this image.

Cthulhu wasn’t the first creature to come to mind.
