I know we can’t arrest everyone who had a hand in the pervasive Wall Street culture of greed that nearly sent our country spiraling into another Great Depression, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t let everyone off the hook so that they can do it again. I suggest we follow the advice of Eliot Spitzer and start with the executive officers at Goldman Sachs. I’d even be satisfied with one – CEO Lloyd Blankfein. I think that the image of him serving time in a federal prison would send a pretty strong message to others of his ilk.

Comparing a foreign terrorist who murdered thousands of United States Citizens to a Citizen who broke no laws is beyond civil and a defamation of those who died. Will you people ever wake up and realize how far from reality your island drifts? I am “amazed” by what I read here but I was warned I would be.

Peter you are right. It is “legal” to use the freedom of speech to imply that Blankfein is equal to Bin Laden. It is also immoral. Freedom permits immorality and perhaps Mr. Blankfein acted immorally if legally, but to equate him to Bin Laden is like equating someone who cheats on their taxes to a serial rapist. Is that “moral”???

Who said that the two are equal? All Mark said is that now that we’ve got bin Laden, maybe we should focus more intently on the men behind the deliberate near collapse of our financial system.
Someone here said it best a few weeks ago when they said that nothing would ever change until the people at the top started to be held accountable. Actually, they used much more colorful language. I think they said something like, “This shit won’t stop until the first CEO is dragged from a limo, torn apart on live television, and consumed completely by a wild-eye mob”.

Thank you for your concern Peter. My middle school guidance counselor thinks I’m doing just fine and making great progress. Because I am home schooled my guidance counselor is also my Mother. Mom is very worried and think the guidance counselor is not getting through so she’s having me meet weekly with my Youth Pastor who shares her concern. Because I am home churched my Youth Pastor is also my Dad. My Dad on the other hand thinks everyone is making much to big a deal about nothing. I though am really worried that my Mom might be having an affair with the Youth Pastor which my guidance counselor thinks why I might be acting out.
These Wall Street Banksters are domestic enemies of the United States. They should be treated the same as any foreign enemy of the United States.
