If you haven’t read Ingraham’s Power to the People you should. I think its holds back but this Number One best seller is accessible reading for citizens in need of a Democracy primer. It gets way better reviews on Amazon than Michael Moores Dude Wheres My Country?

The two titles sure do illustrate the ideaological divide rather plainly don’t they? One gives power to people the other wants thinks he deserves the whole thing for himself. “Dude”!

BoyO, why are you here? Anyone who thinks anyone should read anything by Laura Ingraham isn’t going to be popular around here (her work is fucking idiotic, and if you think one should read her… then, yeah, you dumb, “dude”).

But back to the point of the post – the pic shows her slander. Do you defend her fucked up lies?

If you haven’t seen “Dude Where’s My Car”, you really should. Unlike other films starring Ashton Kutcher, Seann William Scott, and Jennifer Garner, it’s quite accessible. Not only is it a fine example of American comedic film making in the tradition of Ernst Lubitsch , but the way it addresses the timeless problem of finding one’s car after smoking too much pot is LOL funny. And the Amazon reviews are much better than those of An Inconvenient Truth, which means that it’s a better film.

Now how about addressing the fact that Ingraham implied that Obama was golfing as this critical US military operation was being carried out?

Laura Ingraham is a national treasure. No one else has the courage and the intelligence to really digest these complicated issues and shit them out for the consumption of the American people. Did you, for instance, read her piece about how that fat-assed Michelle Obama eats ribs in the White House? The thought of her smacking her big ole lips and sucking on those greasy bones made me want to take my country back. It may not be journalism, and it may appeal to the basest racist tendencies of the American people, but I think that’s what American needs now, so the healing can begin.

I read that Governor Snyder was going down on a Christian Scientist schoolboy when Osama threw his iPad at the grenade launcher.

You know who else’s book has better reviews than Moore’s book? Yeah, that’s right. I bet it got even better reviews when even more people were brainwashed/afraid for their lives…

The truth is the enemy of the right. Distorting and blurring the line between truth and lies is a huge part of their strategy. By the way, does anyone else think Alan Combs is a big tool?

By the way, turns out the White House has known for a couple years where OBL was living, and was forced to kill him on the eve of fully unredacted Wikileaks files demonstrating this fact.

Do you have a link for that, Chairman Meow, or is it just conjecture on your part? If it’s true, it might be enough to bring the government down.

Obviously Obama and his staff spend so much time at the golf course that he had his cart outfitted with a conference room.

In her defense, he did go out and hit some golf balls that morning. I don’t think, however, it in any way affected the mission. And he was where he needed to be when things went down. With that said, I think it’s worth noting that Ingraham, if I’m not mistaken, defended the fact that Bush took more vacation days than any President in history, saying that he needed the time to reflect, and was always accessible. It’s also worth noting that Bush was on vacation when he was handed the national security brief entitled “Osama bin Laden determined to strike within the United States.” He, as we all know, did nothing with that information.

Boy O Boy has appointed me his spokesperson. He would like to respond to Ypsi1313 and Knox’s questions but he is unable. It would violate his terms of duty as a mindless right wing asshole to actually answer a question. He sends his regrets.

I’m having a hard time reading what I see in this photo…

If you’re going to add text to a photo, don’t choose colors that blend into the background of the photo.

I played around with different colors and this was the best that I could do, Matt. Here’s what it says…

I’m having a hard time reconciling what I see in this photo
with what I heard of Laura Ingraham’s show yesterday
about Obama golfing as the hit on Osama went down

Need to share. I had a night class at EMU and after I introduced myself, a woman across the room goes, “Are you *the* TeacherPatti?!” Now this could either way–a shoe flying across the room or a new friend. Fortunately, it went the latter. Anyway, she knows me from HERE!! How cool is that? We discussed some of the other posters (only nice things, honest) and how the commenters at freep.com make everyone here look sane and rational.

Robert I already answered ypsi1313s when the host of this site asked it a week ago. I will answer Knoxes question when someone can show me the actual quote in context and prove that it was not “made up” by the host. LaidOffTeacherPatti thank you for saying nice things about me. Many others seem to devolve into empty profanity.

I’m with Patti, Joe Biden is freaking fun. I’d love to stand behind him and watch some of the action sometime. The jokes Seth Meyers made about his love of trains at the White House Correspondent’s dinner were pretty good.

Also this article is pretty good too:

I don’t get why it’s bad for people to speak their mind.

I’m a bit of a bad blog poster as I haven’t read all your posts. Oh well.

Boy O Boy, would you like to collect the $100 bounty I have on EOS’s identity?

    Robert,
I resent your implication. I write my personal opinions under a single identity, unlike many others on this site. Why don’t you just give up on your bounty. I don’t understand your fixation at all.

    Posted May 5, 2011 at 10:15 am | Permalink

Seriously Boy o Boy and EOS, you two came up specifically. I said that I think EOS is a nice person but s/he and I are just at opposite ends of the spectrum. Boy o Boy I sometimes do think that you say stuff just to stir shit up–which isn’t necessarily awful so long as you don’t do the ad hominem (sp?) attacks which I don’t know that you do all that often. Likewise, I’m sure you are fine to hang out with.
Before anyone thinks I hit the bong water this morning, I should say that at my class we had to take a “true colors” test and I am a blue http://www.truecolorstest.com/ which basically means I want us all to get along. I am also part orange which means I want us all to party. I love myself!
And come on guys–read the people at the freep.com if you want crazy ass motherfuckers. Long long ago I went on there and tried to explain why I teach in the D and why I am a special ed teacher. I don’t know that they actually called me a n*****lover but they said the kids should be in zoos, locked up, the institution, whatever…just an awful experience that I have certainly never seen repeated here.

I took that “test” you linked to and I am green which is Knowledge and gold which is Duty. Liberals want to “party and get along” and Constitutional Conservatives want “Knowledge and Duty” not much we didn’t know already. I do agree that the crazy people commenting on other sights do not seem to want knowledge, duty, to party or get along. That we have in common and I do respect your demeanor on this “blog”. My score on “duty” was only one point higher than “get along” which might explain this.

  30. Posted May 5, 2011 at 10:48 pm | Permalink

Yes, I think it’s the quest for knowledge that sets conservatives apart. That’s definitely the first thing that comes to mind.
